And the other one that was in the same submission....I knew that this would come back purple & trimmed. I bought this book nearly 35 years ago for the right price.

I'll say! What a dramatic change in color strike! I've had some Planet's that showed a marked color difference, but yours is amazing. Congrats.

The 2017 ComicLink show 'em if you got 'em thread

The prices realized thus far are beyond my grasp - both financially and mentally. I'll keep sluggin' it out - there are a few on my radar tonight. If not, I'll shift my focus to OA next week. I have been having much better luck there. I suppose that deep down, I should be very happy with the $$$ being tossed around, the hobby seems healthy - I only wish I could part with some of my books, but I can't!! -

Are those LB Ice Dog Jersey's tucked in on the back of those racks?? -
I attended on Friday. CGC was very busy because of on site grading. Saw some old friends and met some new ones. Greg Reese, Filter, Harrison's (MA), and Dave / Adam's were set up for comics. Reese and Filter had their amazing stash per usual. I purchased 1 book and 1 piece of OA. Traffic was light, but I'm sure with Shatner, it will be packed today.

For me, its hard to believe that this is the same book. It looks 1000% better in the holder than out. Just incredible. Thanks for sharing in detail.

#5 is in hand and I'm still lovin' it!

Mystery Tales #19 CGC 6.0 Over $2K? This sweet PCH just closed on eBay for $2,080. Is anyone else surprised at this result? That's over 13x guide.

PCH seemed to go high. Well, higher than I was willing to go anyway. Reviewing my bids, I lost 18 items I tried to attain, under bidder on 10. I did come away with this OA. -

So, a.....what's the price for this one again?

Creepy, creepy in my mail today. Just finished reading - truly enjoyable. A little beat up G/VG, but really fun.

Any update on this story? Its been dormant for so long that I'll need another day or so to re-read what I forgot from 1-4.

What's the best series that noone is reading?
cupny replied to Jordysnordy's topic in Modern Age Comic Books
Providence by Alan Moore is really deep - for me anyways. Throwaways is another bender along with Black Monday Murders. Black Road, Hunt, Jessica Jones, Kill or Be Killed, Rumble and Wildstorm would round it out. -
It's Cold in here, let's see those BIKINI's!

More PCH from the mail person today! I think my wife is jealous of the joy that these simple treasures bring.

'PLANET COMICS' (is deserving of its own thread)

I won this thru C - Link. I don't have the grader's note on the planet either. -
'PLANET COMICS' (is deserving of its own thread)
cupny replied to Paul © ® ⚽️💙™'s topic in Golden Age Comic Books
I would like one in higher grade, but they seem to all go for 2x BV. This book has great structure and the green's and reds are very rich. I would love any feedback on why this book was so downgraded. The back cover is really clean. Either way, I'm very happy with this book in hand. If you all have a 73 that you could post for comparison - I'd like to like to view them - thanks
