#1 only had one print run for the U.S., and #9 is the only one to have two print runs. Then you have the two 35 cent price variants for #'s 4 and 5. Which are hard to find, and you'll know them because of the price. I just found a cool website that lists all the reprints though, and come to find that issues 2-7 of Marvel Feature Vol. 2 were all reprinted in Conan Saga #'s 78, 79, 82, 83, 85, and 86. You're just going to love the cover for #86.

I looked my pence version and as stated back a few pages its identical but for the Marvel-all- colour comics at the top

Oh, and Gyro, your earlier question about the two covers for Red Sonja: The Movie. Like I said, there were two issues, #1 and #2, but they were just reprints from Marvel Super Special #38. According to this website anyway. So it's just the Marvel Feature Vol. 2 issues, and the Marvel Super Special #38 that are the only Red Sonja to have been reprinted. Of course the Conan Red Sonja appearances have been reprinted many times. I'll do some digging, and find them too.

I didnt know my super special 38 was not a original story but a copy of anotther original story

My conclusion (my hummble opinion)

What ever the print run was for red sonja 6-11 there was a consistant # of pedagree books and a consistent # of HIGH grade colectors stashing them away

There cant be many more high grade copys hiding out there ?

In the last year in most of theses we have seen 1 or 2 books added

And the price variation between 9.6 and 9.8 is only 100$ so that scares speculators from slabbing

A nm 8 and 7 sit at world wide for months no one buying them

My conclusion is that we need another pedagree or a speculator to get a new batch of high grade red sonja !

Isnt comic colecting fun !!!

When I was a kid reading my stack of doc savage and tazan novels I was no different than the kids now with thier harry potters

Theses beautiful old comic books are a treasure and those that colect them are keepers of history

CGC is the best thing to happen to pre 1980 comic book colectors !!!

Just as an FYI, all you need to do is make a request in the registry forum. If you take a look at the X-men sets, you will see that Gemma goes beyond accommodation. There's not much politics in it. If you want a set, just make a request. If you don't like a change, just say it in the registry form. I will say, though, that the whole derogatory approach you seem to prefer would probably wear thin on anyone just doing their job. Gemma a consistent effort to help people out.

Is it a mess with 2 set - some would say so

Is it better that we have a compleat set - I would say so

I have zero pull with CGC so made the desision to pull out of the red sonja set with out the 9 second print - It just seemed that with out the 9 second print it wasnt a compleat set ¸I can see why others didnt want it changed

that a new set with everything was made is what I have desided to list in only

and I believe that it needs version 2and3 also even though I dont collect them

To me in a perfect world every marvel book would be in 1 set only

What I think has happened Is that till wizard and I came along in the last year or so red sonja was a colection people ignored

So out of the north and the florida swamps a couple of trubble makers have turned over the red sonja world here in CGC

Now to convince others to join in !!!!

The Minnesota Renaissance Festival today had what can only be called Red Sonja wear.

 

Yes they can be worn, her character is not outrageously dressed, though the issue of rust did come up in my mind after a sweaty fight

 

a fairly tradition outfit for her, a little longer in the top, perhaps for colder days

the score of 8 on the Red Sonja 4 35 Cent Price Variant is so unfair and shows how unfair the system is worked out

That book is 100 times harder to get in that grade than a regular book

One of theses days a price varient colector will let some slip out !
