  1. Probably been talked to death here but I just saw a 2015 Star Wars #1 CGC 9.8 copy have 30 watchers on eBay. I found that pretty interesting.
  2. Love that comic! I own one myself and it was a pleasure to find it at the price I did before the new TMNT surge of popularity.
  3. What's weird about that is that I bought NM copies for $10ish per pop and yet it would seem that if I were to resell them I would double my investment. Makes no sense to me.
  4. Clearly it was someone disguised as Thanos and not Thanos himself.
  5. This is why #teamslippers is the best.
  6. Matthew bought a wonderfully high grade Strange Tales #135 from me and paided on time. Wouldn't hesitant to sell to him again! (thumbs u
  7. No reason not to get those Darkhawk's SS CGC'ed and sold to me than.
  8. Darkhawk #1 9.8 copies are a solid $125+ comic. And a 9.8 SS just sold on eBay for $261! Why do I care? 1) Darkhawk is awesome and deserves the praise and 2) hopefully to shake out some later issues to get them graded and thus I can buy them.
  9. From Marvel's website: So even Marvel know's there were vast changes made to the character from when she was introduced as a blonde British lady to becoming an Asian spy. If we're just going to throw random facepalms at people, then please, allow me to give your rebuttal a few of these: In the section you quote, the "new powers" include: 1) a temporary ability to be undetectable to machines, which happened in #227 before she entered the Siege Perilous, and ended when she entered it, so that is moot 2) teleportation powers from The Crimson Dawn, which didn't even first appear until #330 3) and powers she gained by swapping abilities with Jean Grey, which has nothing to do with going through the Siege Perilous and again happened much later So do all the issues where she gains these three other sets of powers also represent the debuts of entirely new characters? The only supposed "new power" she gained with #256 was the psychic knife -- which wasn't a new power at all, but simply a focused manifestation of her telepathy/mental bolts, which she could already do. The fact that she looked Asian and had a new costume, I mean, so what? Just because the graphic redesign was successful in making the character more popular does not make it her first appearance. The psychic knife is her trademark look/weapon. It's as important to the Psylocke's character as Wolverine's Claws are to his character. Just so were clear - a new role defining power, a change in her ethnicity, a new costume AND changing her profession from model to assassin isn't a new character? What's a character have to do around here to get the 1st appearance notification? Just get a Bejeweled gem in his forehead and change his name? Is that all? I call BS on that.
  10. Oh Snap! Where's #teamsilk snappy remarks now? I kid, I kid. I love them both!

  12. I agree, but she is still the same character. Same as Bucky and the Winter Soldier, Batgirl and Oracle, etc., etc. I was never a fan of the original, but have always liked the ninja version. The better comparison is Adam Warlock. What's the differences between FF #67 and Marvel Premiere #1? The market believes Marvel Premiere #1 is an important first appearance. Why than isn't X-Men #256 considered the same? It's some sort of nerd hypocrisy and I'm calling it out into the open. I may not know much, but I also know that Uncanny X-Men 213 during Mutant Massacre is the first time she is called Psylocke and Joins the X-Men. SO why isn't that one catching heat? Good question. Back to the example of Adam Warlock, the name change from "Him" to Adam Warlock seems to be viewed as a lesser important development for the character than the general over-haul these two experience that help ultimately define their role in the Marvel Universe.
  13. Kinda what I was thinking also. Copper has a defined, absolute end date. November 18, 1992 at noon. That's when Superman 75 was on sale, the end of the Copper Age and the beginning of the Modern Age and rampant speculation. Pre-Unity Valiant = end Copper. Post Unity Valiant = not Copper. You're welcome. Agreed.
  14. #256 has got to be, doesn't it? I can't think of any others. I don't think anyone, but the people reading them as they were released, care about cosmic Spidey. Nah, there's a bit. Spectacular Spidey #158 was pretty smokin' for a while, and it still is the single issue in that run that is usually missing from dealer stock. I'll happily take every copy anyone has off their hands. +1 (thumbs u Sell me your NM+ for a $1
