  1. So solar #10 9.8 sells for $525. Anyone else see this? Linky to Lyria.
  2. Really? I'm looking at eBay and I see only 4 copies that sold in the last week. What am I missing? eBay Completed Copies
  3. Fast payment. Thanks Roger.
  4. A handful of the Valiant comics have been trending on Lyria for over 6 months now. It's definitely a thing. It hasn't gone away.
  5. I have a TMNT #4 9.8 and a TMNT #4 9.6 SS. I would like to sell off one of them. Which TMNT copy should I keep? If I were to stick with the 9.6 SS I would always have a Peter Laird signature/doodle. However, a 9.8 is a nicer grade and I suppose I could always have that one signed some day in the future. What does everyone here think?
  6. Book has sold consistently around the $20 mark for a long time.
  7. Thanks for this. I had never seen your site before, there's a lot of good info on there.
  8. Also filters out the most popular so you don't see the same 3 comics over and over.
  9. Working on a new feature and there still is some stuff left to do but I thought I'd share the progress here: The latest 35 Copper Age Comics graded CBCS/CGC 9.8 and have sold for more than $200. Enjoy. Lyria Link
  10. Speaking of tough ones to find: Nintendo Comics System Valiant! 51 watchers! It's the 2nd most watched CGC Graded comic on eBay right now. Unfreaking-believable. I'm watching it because it seems like the cool thing to do. Neither of the above comics are CGC graded. Here's the one I was talking about.
  11. Tick. Batman would just get tired of battling a clueless buffoon!

  13. crazy time of year to run an auction. I checked yesterday and only 10% of Silver-Age books were listed as Auction which is crazy since a lot of the auctions have a starting price at FMV. It is well known on the Lyria forums that October to January is the best time to buy comics and the worst time to sell them. Right after tax returns is when the market sees a nice uptick on sells and picks up pace until July/August when it peaks. Year after year.
  14. Incredible Hulk #449 9.8 with 33 watchers. Maybe not much right now but keep your head down as the snipers will be everywhere.
  15. Everyone speculates alone? no news is good news... now we can collect in peace. Eh, there's something to be said about enjoying seeing the trends in comics. Analyzing, predicting, and having fun with the hobby. One man's annoyance is another's amusement. I heard there's a website that does that!
  16. I've started the hunt for gold/silver 2nd and 3rd CGC printings myself. Excellent stuff here guys!
