  1. Batman #1 CGC 9.8 5th printing @ $26 & 36 watchers! This whole low print run demand is super interesting.
  2. Nova went on to bigger better things... Anywhoo... I'm officially out of control. You cannot catch me on the registry. Do not try, please sell me your DH slabs cheap. You know who you are. Thanks. I've been eyeing that #4 forever and just never pulled the trigger. Now I regret it. Sighs.
  3. Amazing Spidey #210 CGC 9.8 @ $236 & 28 watchers because - 1st Madam Web? What am I missing? http://bit.ly/1Cet8XA
  4. Jimmy Olsen #134 in FINE- condition @ $100 & 29 watchers? Is it time to get a bit more serious about Darkseid?
  5. Amazing Spidey #80 in NM @ $39 & 30 watchers. Looks like the market has accepted it as a Black Widow key issue.
  6. That storyline is so good... Maybe one of the best Hulk storylines of all time,,, I had non comic loving friends buying comics to read everything between Planet Hulk and World War Hulk. They all loved it. (thumbs u
  7. Incredible Hulk #92 1st planet hulk @ $30+ish! It's a great story & one which has a successful cartoon already made and sold. Not terribly surprising to see this doing well but it excites me regardless. FYI - I own a copy so my opinion maybe bias. I dunno.
  8. Look at this: Cerebus 8.0 @ $720 & 43 watchers. Right behind an Incredible Hulk #180 9.0 with a mere 72 watchers.
  9. What about Spider-Girl who had a 100+ series and a popular fan following? That would appear to contradict that train of thought. Complete CGC auctions on eBay Also, the Ultimate Universe is still going with Miles Morale taking center stage. I enjoy the character and think that he has a real future somewhere in the Spider-Verse.
  10. There was some discussion about how Silk might be a better buy over Spider-Gwen in terms of longevity and popularity. I thought about this for awhile and had come to the conclusion that while this is comparing apples to oranges the reality is that Spider-Gwen might be the bigger winner. For starters, she has a 1st app that has been seeing prices reach $40-50 in NM with no signs of slowing down. I can't say the same is true for Spider-Man #4 or Original Sin #4. Also, the Spider-Gwen series is being made due to fans outpouring while the Silk series I believe had already been planned. Furthermore, Gwen has more history with the Spider fans than Silk and for that reason alone I find her to be a much more interesting character within the spider-verse. I'm not saying that Silk won't have her day in the sun but from what I can see, her and Peter have a sexually charged relationship but beyond that she hasn't really been developed to encompass decades of history and a special relationship with the reader. So while I hope both character succeed in their new series and have the female and male readership en masse, I have faith that Spider-Gwen has more going for her than Silk. But again, that's like comparing apples and oranges. What's your opinion?
  11. I'm sure everyone already knows this but for the few who may not: Alias #1 @ $15 due to the Jessica Jones connection? Is this due to the whole Luke Cage thing?
  12. A lot of activity on Caliber Presents #1. VF+ @ $51 & 32 watchers.
  13. Books I'm noticing are getting only hotter in 2015: Dr. Strange #1 - no doubt as the movie gets closer and ST #110 gets more expensive, collectors have turned towards this issue as the next best thing. Daredevil #168 - an oldie but goodie, 1st Electra is hot again. Probably has something to do with a rumored Daredevil TV Series? (thumbs u
  14. Everyone might already know this but Thor #337 is trending higher. This copy @ $6 but 31 watchers. I'm feeling the Beta Ray love! (thumbs u
  15. TMNT #1 CGC 9.4 heating up! Wait, no, no, not that one. The 2009 recalled error copy. @ $56 but It's the watcher count that I find interesting. Currently 27!
  16. Right now the Lyria Bronze Age Home Page is lit up with copies of Black Panther #1 going lady gaga! Here is an example. A copy in NM already @ $80 & 36 watchers! Another example of a CGC 9.6 copy currently fetching $128 and 39 watchers! Wow. It's just unreal. I mean, we know this is going to happen but each time it does it just boggles my mind.
  17. Champion #1 CGC 9.8 @ $122, 20 bids & 38 watchers. Can't say I saw this one coming.
  18. I want to add a few books to my "investment list": Captain Marvel 25,26 & or Logan's Run #6 for the extremely early key Thanos appearances.
  19. Really? 40,000 posts in 10 years = 4,000 posts a year = 11 or so posts a day. Not all that much free time required. If you just use emoticons it is easy to do 11 posts a minute.
