  1. Can someone post a picture of the NYC variant? It's like a unicorn. People talk about it and pretend it exist but I've never seen one.
  2. The Test #1 shows up on the Lyria Exchange. Lyria Exchange: Comics - Most Bids
  3. I mean its good as in going up.
  4. I found this book amusing. Superwoman Origin In Esquire Magazine @ $36 & 7 bids.
  5. I say hold. But I'm bias as it's my favorite title of the Copper Age. Well Darkhawk and New Warriors.
  6. Some Revival prices. All in the raw! Revival #1 phantom variant @ $13 Revival #1 @ $27. Revival #1 1:10 variant @ $60 Revival #2 @ $13 Revival #3 @ $8 These are some of the better prices but impressive non the less.
  7. Thanks. I'm glad everyone is finding it so useful. (thumbs u
  8. Hey, fingh. I got the Indiana Jones vibe from the book... with a dash of James Bond thrown in. I suppose it's just a matter of tastes. For example: I have a jones for post-apocalyptic stories, so I like Blackacre. That certainly doesn't go for everyone here. I asked because a lot of times I don't like first issues, but if the concept is good, sometimes it is worth coming back to. Most of the series that I really, really like, however (Planetary, MP, Fell, Goon) there is an instantaneous hook. I am ready for another book like MP. I really like Saga, but it is not quite there for me. However, with the huckster hype machine grinding away with 50 page threads before the first issues drops, it is hard to get any decent intel. Anything other than gushing reviews potentially hurts the resale value on the Phantom variant 20 issue pre-order. So you get a lot of "I don't know, I just really like it all. You know the whole feel is just, wow, hard to put in words." So, sorry to everyone about actually being underwhelmed with the first issue. I trust you will all pump enough vague, yet enthusiastic praise to keep those Ebay sales popping. (thumbs u This seems to be the latest popular insults to throw at members when the poster doesn't care for the book or series. God forbid others find a series fun or interesting. Back in the old days if you didn't like a comic series you just didn't participate in the thread but I suppose now we have to show everyone how awesome we are and poop all over their likes and good vibes. The insults go both ways. I suggested in the PP thread that prices on the book were likely to cool after the series ended. I also offered that I thought the BBC project wouldn't pan out. One poster suggested that posts like this might be from a sense of jealousy or regret at having missed the series. Another put me on ignore. I'm not sure... should we simply not post if we are underwhelmed by a series? Is there no room for a reasonable counter viewpoint? I thought fingh's initial post was pretty inoffensive. No, you can clearly state your opinions and I'll state mine. But when you get personal on my motives for posting in this thread or other like minded threads... well than you start a whole different discussion.
  9. Why filter them out? It looks like the nudity was censored within the auction and it's nice to see whats in demand. Isn't that what the list and this thread is about? true but I'm averse to toon porn. I guess I should leave it.
  10. I do not know. I got them from the comic chronology website.

Care on with the bashing. I'm sure your thoughts will continue in this thread for some time to come. (thumbs u Ha-Ha. This from the guy whose website exists solely to pump hot comics. Untrue. It's comics, magic cards, video games, coins, sport cards and toys. Seriously, get your facts straight. I know you peek from time to time. Don't deny it.
  12. How did this thread fall to the second page? We need to keep the post accurate and to the point of the subject header. Mind the Mgmt #1 Variant @ $15+ & 6 bids. Guardians of the Galaxy #1 1:50 Variant @ $17 & 7 bids. Superior Spider-Man 1:100 Variant @ $21 & 12 bids. Guardians of the Galaxy #8 Variant @ $23 & 4 bids. Walking Dead #1 Governor Special Variant @ $27+ & 4 bids. Walking Dead #92 @ $38 & 14 bids. Superman #75 Platinum @ $38 & 13 bids. Star Wars #1 Sketch Variant @ $81 & 7 bids. Injustice Gods Amongst Us #1 Variant @ $96 & 2 bids. And unfortunately a lot of nudity covers that I will filter out after I get home from work. Lyria Exchange

  15. Or you're just not sharp enough to make the connections involving Prince Robot and his difficulty "performing with his wife," as mentioned earlier in this thread. I don't think we need to resort to insults. We all look at things differently and he may have seen things other missed.
  16. I'm thinking blue without all the sophistication of color test.
  17. I think it's a baby he and some girl aborted. He seems like he never wanted to be tied down. I totally agree with the spoiler. I think that was the intention. How they help keep the revivers alive is a different question. I agree as well. I've got a few ideas where this is going/what's causing all of this. Thought about that after posting... Maybe Wisconsin is the gateway... I keep thinking it's one of the daughters but that's probably just because I like their characters.

  19. Is this a 280+ page post about one issue or have the other issues already came out? I found a #1 at my LCS that was sitting there and I figured it couldn't have come out to many weeks ago.
  20. I knew someone would point that out I submitted the 3 along with a few others, but it came back a 9.6 ....and I didn't have a 6 that was worthy.... I'll get the 3 & 6, it just will have to wait a bit. Prices for slabbed 9.8s are dropping a bit. So you can get a deal on them during the break. I wouldn't rush. Especially during the break period. Everyone will rush off to the next hot Image book and Saga's prices will wane a little right before the August release date. Just my opinion however.
  21. I have a few copies and if you want to pm me your address and pay $6 for shipping I can send you a copy for your enjoyment.
