Well honestly I have never even heard of Rachel Rising until people in this thread complained that its Revival done better. But I'm attached to Revival so I see no reason to abandon a good story line just because someone thinks someone else story is better. That's like jumping out of a perfectly good ship in the middle of the ocean because someone thinks the ship 5 miles off in the distance may have better food. And yes, it's a terrible simile but it made me laugh so to all you haters.

I hold to my original theory on the idea that the more they "revive" the crazier they become. Who is haunting the old in shape guy? That's what I want to know. A past wife perhaps?

He never refers to himself as superior. He is simply Dr. Oct mind in Peter's body. He does make tweaks and improvements to the spidey suit but I think Octo-Pete is more about an attitude change and that's evident in DD #21.

Image logos definitely fuel speculation. I agree that Rachel Rising is a brilliant book but because it doesn't sell well on the secondary market no-one gives a shlt about it on this forum. Having said that though I love Revival also. Bababooey's icon sums it up really:
