  1. Not that this is new but the prices seem pretty crazy. Spawn #9 NM @ $50 & 8 bids.
  2. I put one up last week.. 19.99 +shipping BIN and it sold a day later Crazy. Might have to hit the LCS a little sooner than Wednesday this week. When did this book come out?
  3. There, there, it will be okay.
  4. That is why I only picked up Phantom #2's OA, as it is literally the sister image to #1. I think the concept was good, just too many characters people don't care about enough to want the variant with them on the cover. No seriously, that one cover adds so much depth to the series. It's a great cover. Which cover are you talking about? Sorry. Revival #2 Phantom Variant But Revival #1 Phantom Variant is nice with the blood splattering.
  5. Oh right, comics heating up. Revival #1 CGC 9.9 SS @ $1,175 & 13 bids.

  7. NYX #3 @ $53+ & 5 bids. Nice to see the love for X-23. To bad they canceled the series. (thumbs u
  8. Simpson Comics #1 & 2 @ $18+ & 25 bids. A very ACTIVE modern comic.
  9. No but seriously, hand over the book.
  10. You have made a mistake my friend. There is time to remedy it...
  11. As a reader who dropped the series after #2, where has it gone? I'm curious if I should pick up the next two issues.
  12. Nothing new out for a few months will make this tread fall to page 62. Augh!
  13. It's a good start! I'm interested in how this progresses.
  14. This is my voice. I am yapping in this thread for no apparent reason. I like to type. Do you see the letters in my typed words? Can you make them out and form a sentence in your brain with them? I think that about sums it up.
  15. Something a little more modern for the haters in this thread... X-O Manowar #1 Gold Variant @ $83+ & 2 bids. Guardians of the Galaxy #1 Sketch Variant @ $61 & 8 bids. Chew #1 Larry's Variant @ $56 & 2 bids. Batman Inc #8 Sketch Variant @ $40 & 10 bids. Spawn #229 Sketch Variant @ $31 & 5 bids. Adventure Time #10 Variant @ $27+ & 3 bids.
  16. I've noticed this as well. I apologize for my ignorance, but is there any reason for it? Did Avengers Arena really cause that jump? All I know is that I bought one out of nostalgia. How many others are doing the same is anyone's guess. But the whole kings of kings story line might of given him just a bit more spotlight for those unaware of the character. And after the kings of kings he's more of a universe type entity/character and since the Guardians of the Galaxy movie announcement, Marvel space characters have become hot. All theories of course. I've been watching/selling/buying this book for some time now. The current upswing, according to the recent buyers I've talked to seem to be hinged on pure nostalgia. In 1991 this was a hot character and people back in the day are remembering again and seeking #1s out. I don't think some of these buyers are even vaguely aware of the more recent Darkhawk appearances but yet there is growing pent up demand for HG #1s. Also its 22 years later and the 25 year rule is coming into fruition here (why is this in the modern thread again?) . btw, If anyone has the DH in my signature line send me a pm.
  17. The 1:10 and 4th print are by far the best. Although I do like Larry's variant just because it adds something new to issue one. It's a layer of depth to the cover.
  18. +1 (thumbs u I'm not even sure if Chris is still Darkhawk although the one issue of Kings of Kings I acquired had Nova talking to him and he used the name Chris.

I know issue 1 is his first appearance but the only issues worth collecting from the series are the last 2. I didn't even know the last 2 were worth collecting. How interesting..
