Ha ha, that I get! What I'm looking for specifically - I had a sales thread (now closed). A boardie PMs me about a book. He agrees, asks for total and my Paypal address. After I respond, I haven't heard from boardie again. I have made attempt to contact. How long do I have to wait until I can consider the sale as void and move on?

I really wanted this book in the Schmell auction last year but just couldnt go high enough since i was waiting for the 57. Not yet in hand but paid for and on the way now. Super psyched to have gotten a 2nd chance to own it

23 is getting very close! I started getting raw at some varying grades but then decided to go CGC to ensure the condition I wanted long term. I have a first issue CGC 4.0 that I will eventually upgrade.

Nice! The CGC route would be too expensive for me.

Good luck finishing the X-Men run. I'm still 44 books and many years away from completion.

Thanks! I'm 23 books away, but all my books are raw (with a few exception) and vary in grade. I'm happy with mid-grade for the older books and I am not a CGC collector. However, for my #1 I may decide to go with a CGC graded book.

Well, I can't be in the club yet, but I am closing in on completing my X-Men run. I hope to accomplish my goal this year culminating with a mid-grade #1. So, for now I'll continue to lurk here and keep wiping the drool from my chin.
