  1. I think we have ourselves a case of overpromising and underdelivering
  2. It's certainly not a good look for CGC to spend time on novelties when it takes them upwards of 7 months to grade a regular comic.
  3. Hey I've got to repost that one, it doesn't have a price. Will do one more then do that one properly Missed opportunity to go back and edit in any price you want.
  4. Yes, there is still a fair amount of "do your best" baked into the system.
  5. The second print has a matte stock as opposed to glossy.
  6. I'm sure Tim Vigil has plenty of fans. I am not one of them.
  7. 8.5x11" full body sketch of Donatello by Kevin Eastman. Framed. This is affixed in so will come fully framed. Eastman signed it with "Cowabunga!" There was also a small personalization, which has since been covered. $250 shipped. *Note that my reflection in the glass does not come with the sketch.
  8. PLEASE READ ALL RULES BEFORE BUYING Takes: First takeit in the thread wins and immediately trumps all ongoing PM negotiations. I reserve the right to overrule takes in the event that a PM deal is concluded and I hadn't yet had a chance to mark an item sold. Any variation of "takeit" counts. Please do not edit takeits and please do not commit to buy unless you intend to follow through. Payment: I accept Zelle, check, money order or cash/cash equivalent. No PayPal?????? No, no PayPal. Payment expected in 72 hours unless we work it out ahead of time. Trades: I will consider trades for pretty much anything besides your bulk drek. I do not need to "win" the trade or demand exact dollar for dollar value. I expect my trade partners to use reasonable judgment on value-in-kind. Each party is responsible for shipping their side of the trade. Who can buy: No Hall of Shamers or Probies, or anyone on my personal list. Shipping: Domestic shipping costs are included in the price. International shipping will be at cost and must be determined prior to sale. Returns: Three days' return shipping from receipt. Buyer is responsible for shipping cost back unless item was damaged in transit.
  9. $600 has been the threshold here in Massachusetts for years.
  10. The 2.5 could still end up looking like a deal in the long run. I don't know why the 6.5 seller didn't hold out for more. He should have auctioned it at one of the big auction houses.
  11. None of your thesis applies to large swathes of the Golden Age, which has seen tremendous growth the last two years.
  12. The inflated prices on 4th and 5th prints never made sense.
  13. With the 2.5 selling slightly above that $1/pt mark I figured a really well presenting 6.5 would push upward exponentially, with that seller holding out for something in the $8-$9k range.
  14. Is that listed on a site somewhere, like watchcount or something?
