  1. Two copies of the 9.6 since the difference between a 9.6 and a 9.8 is often based on the direction the wind happens to be blowing the day of grading.
  2. Bump. Terrors 10 still on hold. Several PM inquiries on the other two books but the latest trend on these boards is for people to PM with interest and then stop replying.
  3. Third appearance of the Tick, from 1986, two years before The Tick Special Edition 1. Nice shape, around an 8.0. Scarce. $200.
  4. First wins and immediately trumps all PM negotiations. Any variation of "takeit" counts. I accept Paypal, check, money order or cash. No Hall of Shamers or Probies. Payment expected in 72 hours unless we work it out ahead of time. US shipping is included. International shipping will need to be determined prior to sale. Three days' return shipping from receipt. Buyer is responsible for shipping cost back unless item was damaged in transit. Please do not edit takeits and please do not commit to buy unless you intend to follow through.
  5. New prices: Jo-Jo 18: $45 Terrors of the Jungle 10: $60 Aggie Mack 8: $200
  6. A lot of dealers don't even have their chit set up before the main doors open.
  7. There are deals to be had at shows, even on the last day of a four day con. You just have to look for them. Slackers.
  8. Weathervanes and shill...shilay...shhhhhh...Irish sticks. And the moral turpitude of dealers selling comics to other dealers before the cosplayers get through the convention doors.
  9. That thread is confusing. Seems like it should be in the ebay/advertising area.
  10. My moral shillelagh is spinning in circles.
  11. So are we happy or sad about dealers selling to dealers?
  12. In terms of overall books at the Con then I 100% agree the number of books trading hands is very small. But the amount of low hanging fruit being picked before the opening bell is staggering if you are lucky enough to get in the door early (of course depends on the con and what dealers are present). I see. There's probably some truth in that but only to the extent that there are actually many underpriced books available at a con, which isn't often the case.
  13. I assume this is an insider joke? I've seen whole booths get bought out before the doors even open. In terms of percentage of books changing hands it's probably pretty small but if you look at the percentage of under priced books that change hands before the opening it would have to be a pretty high percentage. Not sure if you're agreeing with me or not...
  14. Hulk 181s get passed around like dinner rolls at Thanksgiving.
  15. People are wildly over-exaggerating the amount of pre-show dealing that occurs.
  16. How do you know the attendees aren't resellers themselves?
  17. I should have worn a helmet and kept digging through their boxes.
  18. Cretella looks sexy with those shades. Looks sexy without them too.
  19. How did I miss this? Must have been distracted by the 5 Hour Energy and Geico booths.
