  1. via Imgflip Meme Maker Not that anyone SHOULD let something like that go.
  2. I'm on year 3 of waiting for something I paid for in a donation thread but I've long let it go.
  3. My understanding is that Mirage shipped all the copies themselves. They were not distributed through Diamond or a similar entity.
  4. I took a book back after two years due to undisclosed micro trimming. I missed it and the buyer missed it but I still bought the book back. Shib happens.
  5. Unless the seller encountered an improbable and comical series of pitfalls in the last week then there is no reason to disappear with cash in hand. I don't give out inadvertent interest-free loans to strangers. If I was the buyer I'd seriously be considering taking steps to retract the purchase through Paypal.
  6. I think your assessment is correct. They already have the mold and the production going so they probably figure they may as well broaden the audience appeal with colorized versions. I personally would only have interest in the B&W, which I admit looks great.
  7. I've been waiting for this figure since they announced it last year but $65 seems a little steep.
  8. Thanks to Eric/icculus308win for the sweet, sweet new addition to the TMNT collection!
  9. Excellent and well-thought business decision. No law that says restored must get purple. Nothing deceptive if the label says "restored." I suppose it was a good business decision but my comments were directed at the restored blue label as a bad decision for the hobby. Sure, the label says restored but the color of the label says Universal to most hobbyists. Imagine if different cities had different colors on their traffic lights. What if Cleveland changed a red light to go and a green light to stop. It's confusing. These types of things should be 'Universal'. I always thought Borock was a fan of the hobby. It does not make me a fan of the other company. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/False_equivalence
  10. Excellent and well-thought business decision. No law that says restored must get purple. Nothing deceptive if the label says "restored." +1 Clearly a purposeful choice. Given the PLOD mentality, seems like a good way to distinguish themselves. Just because you disagree with the choice doesn't mean it was a bad decision or not well thought out. The law of unintended consequences: I just look at ALL of their books as if they are restored and zip right by them when I'm browsing online. And you can be certain I'm not the only one doing that. -J. Nonsense.
  11. "Other company's" labeling system. Leave a lot to be desired. -J. Not sure if facepalm to my post or to the blue label. I mean it is blue right? I aint THAT drunk. yes but they use blue for restored and unrestored Looks like a fantastic copy to me and I hear the seller is open to offers and can be reached right here on the boards!
  12. Sigh. I may have hit my tipping point with the Squarriors 1 variant.
