  1. Sometimes I want to hug you so hard that we become one person.
  2. No more screwing around. One hour for payment. Two days for shipment. Immediate hall of shame induction even in cases of force majeure.
  3. Gotcha. Understandable. It does penalize the seller in cases where the buyer is a flake. Might be some solution, without over complicating things ( ) where there can be a tire kicker/dooshknuckle/flake buyer list where the seller doesn't want to wait 30 days to let the boards know about potential bad buyers. Anyhoo, I now require 2 of your LTPC points. I'll send them to you in 30 days and, if I don't, you can bring it up here for 97 pages of discussion.
  4. I've had about one dozen non-paying buyers in my time here and zero motivation to bring it up for probation discussion. Why? So they can go and renege on someone else? So, what, all of a sudden you're into maintaining a sense of community?
  5. The process hamstrings you for 30 days and, frankly, if someone doesn't want to follow through on a purchase I have no interest in forcing them to complete a deal.

  7. It's mind boggling isn't it? I know people want to do the right thing and want the boards to be a better, safer selling venue, but........ I'm kind of speechless right now. The utility of these lists is waning by the minute. What makes you say that? If nobody cared about their utility there would have been no drama over Hus or any of the other people on/off the PL and HoS. I disagree. The drama over HusTruck occurred because people love the drama itself. Whether he ends up on a list or not is secondary to detailing his infractions. These conversations are nothing but virtual rubbernecking at a slow-moving disaster. That's why these conversations go on and on endlessly. It's not because everyone wants to maintain the integrity of ill-defined lists; it's because people love exposing dongfaces like HusTruck. I still maintain that very few people actually open up the lists and look at them when someone drops a takeit in their sales threads.

  9. Incidentally, I sent a book to be reslabbed last month and had it back in hand in less than two weeks.
  10. Does it even really matter what list HusTruck gets added to? Does anyone even look at those lists when buying or selling?
  11. You think that's crazy, you should see what some handsome ebay sellers are asking for signed and graded Swamp Thing reprints.
  12. your sales thread says this "I reserve the right to refuse sale to anyone for any reason" that is completely different than "I reserve the right to cancel the transaction" you may not have completed the transaction but you agreed to it. You can't cancel it after you've agreed to sell the item at the agreed price. He knows that. This was his first question in a group charity PM thread. A few people refused to sell to him. I said they could refuse to, if they stated the right to refuse to sell to someone on ignore ect... Now you've done it!
  13. I miss being lowballed with a price based on GPA when I'm the only one to ever own that particular book.
