  1. If you follow Peter's blog it certainly seems like they are on good terms.
  2. Eastman is doing an AMA on Reddit today. Someone ask him if he thinks the set is authentic.
  3. Thanks to a fellow boardie (he can volunteer his identity if he so chooses) I was able to procure this CFD 1 counterfeit. I know these present some gray morals as far as having them in one's collection but I find them to be interesting historical artifacts.
  4. I saw that listing as well and moved right on past it. There is nothing about that sketch that seems authentic.
  5. So no matter what they are gonna be green labeled by CGC? Well you could have them signed again with a witness and take the grade hit for the original signature.
  6. I have the regular cover and the Hotcomics.com variant. Both will likely be for sale.
  7. I have a few due back to me any day now. All signed by Eastman.
  8. My ginger is always ready and my shell is always wet.
  9. I believe that guy recently tried to sell a TMNT 1 3rd print with the indicia bleached out, with it being passed off as a counterfeit. I emailed him to point that out and he never responded, instead lowering the price from something like $2000 to $750. He has also sent me lowball offers on many TMNT slabs I've sold on ebay, with his messages getting more and more aggressive as I turned him down.
  10. I'm intrigued by this. I'll have to seek one of these out online after the show.
  11. If you send in the certificate then CGC will send it back along with the slabbed book.
  12. Let's pool our money. Counting what I have that only leaves us $1,999,999.99 short.
  13. Eastman's selling the First Turtle drawing. Who's buying? http://variety.com/2014/biz/news/comic-con-teenage-mutant-ninja-turtles-co-creator-selling-first-drawing-of-tmnt-for-2-mil-exclusive-1201267835/#
  14. It was not better in the old days. I remember sending money orders as a wide-eyed young buck and receiving nothing back. The new system may be a bit rushed (and I agree that it kind of is) but it's far better now than what was in place before.
  15. Because some people don't sit around waiting for comic book auctions to end? Exactly, but following payment, is there an equivalent mandated shipping time for sellers? If so, how many days? 24 hours.
