  1. I'll assume this was a typo... Insulting someone doesn't normally lead to quick dispute resolutions. If he was insulting you then you should have let him dig that hole and when he nominated you for the PL his case would have garnered little support, in all likelihood.
  2. Got this nice surprise in the mail today. Thanks, Sean of NY Comics. Love those sig placements.
  3. The issue isn't really about the ease with which someone falls off the PL but whether or not he should have been on it in the first place.
  4. I think this sequence of events could be massaged a different way: --Possibly closed sales thread meanders towards oblivion --Insistent buyer tries to force a sale --Seller chooses not to be bullied Not saying this is the way things are but maybe the initial nomination isn't so black and white.
  5. There's hardly a consensus on this so why would the default be to add to the PL?
  6. 30 day wait to go on the list or to come off?
  7. General question: What happens when the nominating party is being unreasonable?
  8. This one seems a lot more straightforward.
  9. This is where I'm coming from as well. I've never tried to force someone to sell me a comic. It's weird.
  10. I guess none of this really satisfies the issue of when a sales thread officially dies. That is a sticky wicket.
  11. The seller's a dongface with a long history of dongfacedness. Gotcha. But how now does he get himself off the PL? Send the buyer a fat stack of cash? Source the same book and sell it to the buyer for $110?
  12. There's been many, many sales thread necromancies in the past and they are generally met with one of two responses: 1. People have a minor chuckle and move on 2. The seller says "PM me" A buyer trying to force the hand of the seller is a worrisome tactic.
  13. How is the seller supposed to get off the list? Send the wouldbe buyer the monetary delta between what the book was offered for here and what it sold for on ebay? That would be dumb.
  14. This might be the thinnest PL addition yet.
  15. Lack of communication is a perfect way to get me to not spend money in one's future sales threads. Even just firing back a (thumbs u is better than nothing.
  16. Seems like if there's this much controversy then there should be no addition of either party to the PL. Better to let 10 guilty men go free than imprison 1 innocent man and all that.
  17. Man, how many pages of discussion has been devoted to this now? 30? I've had buyers flake out on me and sellers take FOREVER to ship out a purchased item, and I've not bothered nominating these people to the PL. It's exhausting.
  18. I know, they're both still open. That's pretty basic, and no reason to repeat yourself. I seem to have to because some people seem to leave out relevant facts as if they simply do not exist. However, you should do it to prove whatever point you wish. According to the people on here, threads have only two states, OPEN and CLOSED. Is there a mysterious third one I'm missing?? Books-moved-to-ebay-but-still-technically-available-on-here threads.
  19. I always mark my unsold sales threads "CLOSED" in the title when I'm done promoting them. No muss, no fuss.
