  1. @CGC Mikethe certification numbers are showing up as invalid in the system so how am I supposed to submit these for Mechanical Error?
  2. Terry sold some books at a nice discount, packed them well and shipped quickly. Thanks!
  3. I had him sketch on a blank cover as well, years ago, and he wrote next to the sketch, "Not to be slabbed." Ever since then, whenever I see him at a show, I have him just sketch on a blank piece of paper and personalize it to my kids. His dislike of CGC may stem from when he joined the boards many years ago and had a less than pleasant experience here.
  4. Maybe the hurricane will blow them into the Fast Track pile.
  5. Depends. Is the original ask price $51 or $5100?
  6. One cannot exist without the other. It's the way nature intended.
  7. Final price drop on the Battlefield 6: $250 shipped.
  8. CGC thinks we're stupid but not this stupid. At least, I don't think they do.
  9. The transitory, unreliable nature of The Joker's origin, as highlighted in The Killing Joke, and further underscored in The Dark Knight, is what makes the character interesting.
  10. Years ago, I bought a Showcase 22 from a LCS near me and ended up selling it here on the boards. That buyer got it graded and it came back with minor color touch. I sucked it up and took the return then brought it to the original LCS to see if we could work something out, even if a refund of my original purchase price was off the table. In all scenarios I was going to lose money but I was hoping the LCS would help alleviate some of that pain. They told me to go fist myself. I've never returned to that LCS, as they've lost my business for life. However, I did learn to check all books thoroughly, at home, whether bought online or in person, as soon as possible, no matter how reputable the seller.
  11. Sold to the man with elegant taste in doormats. Thanks!
  12. It's the first comic I remember owning, and still own it, obviously. I still need Eastman to sign it.
