  1. It's the gift that keeps on giving.
  2. I brought it immediately to Black Flag for an acetating.
  3. How easy or difficult is it to apply acetate to Funko Pops in pursuit of gem mint grades?
  4. Unknowable what would happen if one were to combine a potion with the fudge.
  5. There were more booths selling potions and potion-related accessories than booths selling comics. I don't know exactly what these potions were meant for. Healing and invisibility I'm assuming. One end-of-aisle booth sold fudge. Just fudge. Yup. LOTS of Funko Pops. There was barely any activity at the Black Flag booth, though there was plenty of floor conversation about them. For the 7 or 8 actual comic dealers, prices ranged from reasonable to outrageous. Every year there are more and more slabs. Even just a few years ago there were hardly any slabs at this show, with raws being mostly preferred. That's changed a lot the last two years. I took 0.0 pictures. There were no @greggysightings.
  6. Agreed. His cover to Approved 11 should be up there with Heath's flamethrower covers, which I also love.
  7. Must I choose between being greedy, lazy or a hard worker? What if I want to be all three?
  8. I'll be at the Boston show today. If anyone wants to discuss life, philosophy and the meaning of acetate in today's society, come find me. I'll be the one in a t-shirt and wearing a backpack. Can't miss me.
  9. No doubt but this is by far the most high profile and, potentially, the most damning.
  10. There are many layers to this acetate comic drama, from the pull of YouTube personalities in the community to CGC grading bootleg comics as blue labels; however, to me, the biggest concern by far is the possibility that CGC is selling grades. If there's even a hint of that possibility it immediately invalidates their entire business model.
  11. I thought the Going Steady 12 went kind of cheap.
  12. A couple surprises on the lower side too.
  13. Curious to see where this one ends: Cinderella Book with Early Matt Baker Art (Tiny Tales, 1946) | Lot #81195 | Heritage Auctions (ha.com)
  14. I think you meant to say you are more likely to be a flatulencer.
  15. I think I've done more trades here over the last year than actual sales so figured this would be easier.
