  1. In a Not- so- subtle- way- of- attempting- to- hijack- this- thread- ......... By the way, What's the First Appearance of Vemon?
  2. What she said! & "Lighten up Francis!" Glad you taking care of my light work MG Now in the Wolvie case it's obvious that the cameo is first. In this case of 252 I was just trying to point out how "cornfusing" it can be with all the titles released in the same month and continuity irregularities and that IMHO it doesn't really matter because it didn't stick with PP. If it had, then you might have something worth arguing over.
  3. Man that's a gorgeous green cover! I don't recall Marvel being as successful with green cover themes as DC. So this one really stands out to me.
  4. ?? The whole which appearance came first krap Exactly Who cares. He went black, then he went back. It was like "New Coke" all those years ago. Big deal made about it, but it didn't last. Everybody wants the classic. ( I have yet to try Spidey Zero, Diet Spidey or Spidey Lime) The real importance of the whole she-bang is the creation of Venom. I believe we have rewarded that sufficiently relative to price and that there's little confusion when and where he's created.
  5. I did have them signed. BUHAHAHAHAHA By Huge Jack Man? No(I wish though) I had them signed by Marc Silvestri. So if you had them signed in black sharpie on the LLFC, and the production flaw just happened to get filled in. Would you have a possible 9.9 or a purple label......... ??
  6. Those are purty! I have the Sid's 111 in my run. Who the heck is Sid and how did he get such nice Journey Into Mystery's?
  7. Cap loves boxes!! The attention for this cover. It's just sad. I wish I had the photo manipulation skills to make Cap in the Box look like that Indian Chief from the 70's litter commercial with a tear running down his cheek.
  8. "Cracking" URC extending well into Bozo.......
  9. Ted came, saw and paid! Vini Vici Mercenarius All very nicely and quickly. I would not hesitate to do more business with him. Thanks! 50c
  10. Nice! But is that the beginnings of rust oxidation.......... on the door stopper
  11. Frozen - I'm thinking that Captain Boomerang's contraption was a precurser to Punkin Chunkin, and now he is suffering from serious small spring envy.
  12. Did that LRC slab impact damage the book? It's gorgeous by the way.
  13. Wow, wow, and wow. I'll be the first to say it: Two battling monsters cannot compare to those near perfect Manthings you got
  14. One of those early Marvel SA covers that gets my blood pumping every time I see it. I get the same rush I did in the late 70's when I first saw one of these in person. Yeah SS, this one just pops more than that old gray FF12!
  15. Yeah Bat me too. Lot's of story for the buck. There are some great Kirby pinup pages too!!
