  1. It was already my current favorite ongoing, but that arc raised it to the level of classic in my opinion. Everyone was at the top of their game there... -script, pencils, color, design, I loved it. That sounds awesome. I need to read that.
  2. That's a really interesting point about the DC movies not hitting their stride yet. The Justice League movie could end up being the big thing for the DC books. There'd already been several Marvel movies but it wasn't until the Avengers movie and the Thanos cameo that things really started to kick off. The Avengers movie was like a culmination and showed what was possible. The League movie would have to be as good, though. A pretty tall order.
  3. It's time for another Dalmations. Maybe Marvel will influence Disney a bit and they'll put out a sequel: 101.1 Dalmations 101 adult dalmations and 1 puppy
  4. This is like the Overstreet of hot comics. Superb. I may have missed it but did you mention Marvel Graphic Novel #17?
  5. Thanks for all the info guys, I really appreciate it. He's a good friend, but not $1000 good heh.
  6. TV show in the works. http://guardianlv.com/2014/11/marvel-plans-the-runaways-tv-show/
  7. It's quite low...I know of several folks that have been looking for a copy for some time.... Alexisonfire,a ”screamo"band used it as a cover to one of their singles.Watch out was the song.Just a tidbit...(I had to buy it when I saw it,my first cd single..not even a fan really ) Thanks for the info. Yeah a friend of mine who's also a fellow collector loves that album. Spellbound #17 has become his grail. Trying to get him a copy for Xmas. Any idea what I should be paying roughly for a Fine? There was an 8.0 that sold on HA in 2012 for about $250 IIRC. Has there been significant upward movement in the FMV since then?
  8. I decided I wanted to press a few of my comics so I turned to Joe and, boy, am I glad I did. I started off with one book just to learn how it all worked, and Joe was helpful and polite. He went above and beyond my expectations and I'm very much looking forward to doing more business with him in the near future.
  9. Guys, is Overstreet accurate when it comes to Spellbound #17? Trying to find out what I should be paying for a raw Fine.
  10. Hockey stick, guitar, drawing desk, random oil paintings... its really got the lot Sensational room.
  11. That is a SWEET room, ccmp. Wish I had a space like that, not to mention some of those Silvers. You had me going with the Goldies. I was like, really? Could it be? Surely no one's that nonchalant about showing those books Thanks for posting
  12. I'm with you on this. I'm a big believer in EOSV 2. When i first heard about the character I absolutely loved it, and so did a lot of other people. It's one of those things that just works, and you can't really put a finger on exactly why.
  13. Nice. You don't see that many with his sig. A McFarlane sig would finish it off nicely.
  14. It looks like he's wearing capri pants and loafers in this pic. Who does he think he is? Pitbull?
