  1. ASM #300 is my favorite issue of all-time, slightly ahead of Batman #232 which I consider a masterpiece. #300 is a perfect comic, imo. Great art, great story, great new character, attractive cover, AND, as an extra bonus, it's double-sized. Feels great in the hands. Weighty. I've had my copy for almost 20 years now and, believe me, it's beat.
  2. It's crazy. Even a lower grade, incomplete copy with married pages is going to set you back some pretty serious money. This one sold for $575. http://www.ebay.com/itm/The-Incredible-Hulk-181-Nov-1974-Marvel-/121348071900?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item1c40e8a1dc&nma=true&si=Mih4Jk2F7QTULiMeUV%252Fjidzinz8%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 That's not bad for a pedigreed copy! Ah yes, the famous Qualified pedigree!

  4. Really cool book. I love all the error variants related to the Fatal Attraction books. Holograms on comics stir up a lot of nostalgia for me.
  5. Great looking room. Love that spinner rack. Where'd you get that?
  6. Oddly, Rob Liefeld tweeted that Domino's first appearance was New Mutants #98. Wikipedia says #11. Does Rob know that copycat was playing Domino in NM 98? Was that -script rewritten? How does someone who has never been seen before get impersonated first? Good point! Retcon, not the first time it's been done. What if they did this with Deadpool ? X-force #2 would be the new 1st appearance.
  7. I really hope Brian and Pia let someone else see what they can do with it.
  8. I'd be surprised if that doesn't get to $300. You don't see many copies that look as nice as that one. A true classic.
  9. His are the archetypal comic book cover, imo. They draw your attention and make you want to know what's inside. Even the very early issues of Detective, which were relatively simple, were really attractive. #6 for example. They started getting more detailed from about #7 onwards. #11 is one of my absolute favs. Beautiful detail. Everything looks so organic. Very 3D. Then of course you have #18 which is just a masterpiece. Don't even get me started on the Adventure's... just beautiful stuff. He's top 3 of all-time, for me. With Wood and Schomburg.
  10. That is one big hairy hand. Great book. Not one you want around your throat. Waldo, gone bad.
  11. You have such an amazing collection. That AC26 is stunning. Flessel is one of my favorite GA artists. I hope someone publishes an artbook for him one day.
  12. Looks like a really nice copy. Very well done. (thumbs u
  13. I can't help but trust places with the word "Pop's" in the name. It just sounds so endearing. The thumbs up from Gator doesn't hurt, either. Many congrats and lets see some pics, OP!
  14. Awesome spidey room! I see the bed , do you sleep there? My wife would kill me if I had that much comic stuff in our room. Yes, this is my bedroom. I kinda feel sorry for you guys with the wife that wont let you do this kinda stuff D: Since I'm the female I don't think it will be a problem for me. ;3
  15. Hey, with walls like that it'll only be a matter of time before I'm a father!
  16. Love this. Lots of great books. You collect a lot of the same things I collect. Spidey, X-Men, Turtles.... Fun room.
  17. Oh hell yes, that is seriously a great idea. Blade in a brown leather overcoat and green pants No Snipes, though. He's drunk his fill.
