  1. Yup, BIN I think whoever it was set the BIN too low IMHO. The #1's 9.9 to market... I would haev done straight auction, but that's me. No doubt. I would have grabbed that with no hesitation. Ditto.
  2. Certainly. Completely agree. The stock was perfect, and I was a little bummed when I submitted mine and didn't get at 9.9 love.
  3. How can you say such an absolute statement on something so subjective? C'mon, man... Jerk! Yes, I meant subjective. That said, I hear the arguments for both sides, but the bottom line is, Adlard gave us most of what we know and love about TWD. And as someone else mentioned earlier, Moore was off the book and only doing covers for a reason. For the record, I like Moore's art better.
  4. You could. But you could say that it's not too. This, to me, is Charlie's worst work...
  5. You could say the Cover to 106 was one of the best of the series. And his splashes are still pretty killer. There have been some great ones with Jesus in there. The splash with Michonne and Carl from 108 was pretty nice, too. He's getting there, all.
  6. ever since his eBay auctions, the cheapest as of the end of 2012 was around $600. This year, they've averaged $950.
  7. How can you say such an absolute statement on something so objective? C'mon, man...
  8. She is fing crazy. Sorry but I would rather spend a grand on OA from Adlard at this point then on a single commission from Moore. Understandable but any OA from Moore is bound to be better than Adlard OA. If TWD wasn't so crazy, Adlard art wouldn't be more than 125 bucks. He has been pretty awful as of late. I disagree. CA's art has been AWESOME and arguably the best of the series since the hustle and bussle of 100 ended. He's been killing it on covers and interior pages.
  9. Yeah-- know it's high, but if you're wanting art from Moore, it's the only way you're gonna get it.I also think that's pretty much market value. (it's a little manipulated since he's completely dictating it since you can't buy OA directly from him as of late. (FYI, I did NOT pay $1,000 for my commission) Any moore OA that pops up on eBay is going to pull 2,500-3,500-- even if it's a mundane page. There's still something very appealing to some about getting art from the co-creator and original artist. I have commissions, awesome splashes and even a cover from Charlie, but I was always chasing some decent art from Moore.
  10. I truly thought today was the day, guys. Maybe tomorrow?
  11. She'll be taking seven spots. Costs I believe will be around $1,000
  12. One final PSA-- Kara is accepting commissions for Tony More via Twitter, so JUMP ON IT. You will not be disappointed. This is what Tony doodled for me from Seattle's ECCC http://cdn.comicartfans.com/Images/Category_86518/subcat_142230/Tony%20Moore%20Commission%202013.jpg
  13. Just in case there are any interested takers..... http://www.comicartfans.com/ForSaleDetails.asp?ArtId=417124 http://www.comicartfans.com/ForSaleDetails.asp?ArtId=417123
  14. Seriously though. Where are the RRPs?
  15. Well, if there's anything I've learned, don't assume what's happening on the cover is related at all to the content of the book.
  16. Not gonna lie-- I think the original is pretty bad .
  17. Gives me the heebie jeebies when a book hits $800+ just because of a TV/movie deal... RUN AWAY.
  18. Looks like there's a massive dumping of 6th Gun going on... What happened??
  19. Call me old fashioned, but it just rubbed me the wrong way with the faith-based intertwining of the plot lines. Different strokes I guess.
