  1. I love the regular print covers. Really clean and definitely eye catching.
  2. This is why I give all the credit in the world to folks that make a living off selling comics. So many factors drive prices up or down. More power to the powersellers.
  3. You can get raw #1's in nice condition all day on ebay for 50-80 bucks shipped depending on your search.
  4. WAIT. I sold a 9.8 for 159 via auction. Same book sold a month earlier for 200. Damn this lull.
  5. Really hoping it pops after my lot in the modern sales section sells.
  6. Everyone (including myself) who has given Saga a try pretty much hated it. I don't personally know anyone who reads it or tried and liked it. IMO, Saga can turn off a whole bunch of potential readers with its content. EoW on the other hand doesn't have anything to really turn someone off.
  7. Like, instead of spending them? Please explain.
  8. Look at Five Ghosts. ECCC sells for that. And that book has nowhere near the audience that East of West does. I passed those at that artists' table at ECCC. Those were selling for $5 a piece. There were STACKs available. Ahhhhhh.
  9. I still find it insane that a book only two issues in will command $300 + for a variant.
  10. I was first to sell an EOW first print 9.8 and got $80 on multiple auctions. Being first to market is huge, and this should easily top $500. I'm more interested in the 9.9 first print that's for sale.
  11. I'm not so sure. $1,600 for 1-4 raw NM. That seems like an okay deal for 4 books that might not grade higher than 9.2-9.4. I don't think it's a steal. Show to me that WD still has serious demand. Does grade really matter that much when it comes to SS books, or books up for charity for that matter? I have no idea what you mean? That auction was not for SS books or a charity to my knowledge. Grade always matters and correlates to value/cost. Ahhh n/m-- thought we were on the Hero Initiative books. Sorry about that, man.
  12. I think this is the key comment. Plus, our boy loses all the hype he would have made from a comic climbing up that high from a .99 auction. I have no idea what will happen with the auction, but I'm definitely in a wait and see mode.

  14. No offense...I think it is. Of course having the OA is cool but I don't think the cover is good at all No offense taken. Everyone's entitled to their opinion, even when I think it's wrong. I do think that Charlie gets bashed unjustly here a lot. His art is great, he's on time, he's a CRAZY personable and nice dude considering his take in TWD and regardless of TM being on the initial books, Charlie brought us every memorable moment of the comic from issue 6-now. I love my commission from Tony Moore, but to me, Charlie is THE Walking Dead artist. He's brought it to life for over 100+ issues and I'm proud to have a cover and a few interior pages and great sketches.
  15. How much was the 92 cover, just for comparison's sake with what i own?
  16. This cover's super lame, amirite? http://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1010864
