  1. And finally, a nice little gift from Stan! No Ditko, but someday, eh?
  2. Man, there has been some snippy-ness on the boards recently....
  3. the wrap cover IMHO, was one of the best from the series... He's been cranking out issues like crazy non-stop, has been on the press circuit and is probably a little tired. Cut the guy some slack... I actually think that while the covers have been OK, the interiors have gotten a little better. 100 and 101 were pretty detailed. If you have the stomach, look back at that meeting between Lucille and Glen. I haven't been that affected by a comic in a while. That's great art/visual storytelling.
  4. Finally back from CGC-- My Matt Groening signed and sketched Simpsons #1. Thanks Mr. Mylar for taking a little detour with me to get this!

  7. Nope! That's why i love the page! He basically confronts all of the snark most people throw his way, and does it in a very badass way.
  8. Love Ivan Reis and finally picked up a very special page for sentimental reasons from Aquaman #1 from the new 52. Great story to the pick up, and glad i finally found it!
  9. Really took a first-hand look at the Frank Quitely cover of WD 100. What a freaking terrifying piece. It's kitschy at first with the whole elderly lady take, but the detail and emotion is nuts.
  10. Walking Dead #22 page 19 with my two favorite characters from the book!
  11. Yeah-- but it makes sense. Plus, it'll make it a bit fairer considering some of the flipping. Nothing against making a buck, but Mark's prices are unbelievably fair, and i think it makes sense for him to get a fair value out of the OA from the get-go.
  12. Absolutely love that art for Batman 6. Such a horrifying image.
  13. Completely agree. 100 issues is a big deal, so let them do the variants, etc. I think of it as a kick back to the die-hards. It's not like they go crazy with variants for every other issue. I'm still waiting on the 16th variant from Tony Moore
  14. Productive Con! I was able to snag: - A full figure Wolvie from Herb Trimpe (pics later) - Squid Girl from Ben Templesmith (pics later) And these two. Had an awesome time chilling with Charlie and the Image crew. Next up is getting an Ivan Reis Aquaman and Jim Lee Batman/Supes on these Justice League blanks!
  15. Finally got a MG sketch and sig. It's on it's way for protection as we speak! Big thanks to Mr. Mylar for the help. We had some fun at the booth.
  16. Hi guys-- I've got a 9.8 WD #1 with the black mature readers label. Has there ever been any final point of clarification on why some are white and some are black? Is this a matter of one being first print, and the other being a second print? Any help would be huge. Thanks!
  17. Andddddddddddd there goes the ToT bubble.
  18. And now I'm OA art shopping. Damn this hobby. Also, favorite line from the entire book Abraham: "Yeah, let's eff this dog."
  19. Just did a mega marathon and read every single issue. Incredible. Loving Tyrese-- Carol's character was really interesting, Abraham is awesome-- hated Michonne at first, now love her -- and Glenn! Gotta say the best page of art from Adlard was Carl's splash after getting shot. Wow! What a book.
