  3. I have a few Kirby sigs, looks legit to me. ?
  4. What is that? Looks like exactly what I need for my retro consoles. I like the Zelda group. Will scan a few Zelda related things in the next few days. Samsung gxtv. We used to sell those, or rather they WOULDNT sell . Retailed at $249.95 I believe. Had it sitting on the front counter hooked up to a PS-1 for a loooong time. Helped sell alot of games though...
  5. Great idea for a thread, Bones .Quite a while ago, I had a 7 year stint with a company called FUNCOLAND; you now know it as Gamestop. I cant tell you how much cool chit I picked up in those 7 years. Rare games, lots of decks(consoles for the lamen ), promos of all kinds, standees, toys, banners, you name it. One of these days, ill have to post pics. Until then, keep em comin boys. Lotsa great chatter in here!!
  6. Holy moly, can you imagine if all of those were slabbed? My pic would rival lobo's , but I will at this time because it would take me waaaay too long to dig ALL of them out
  7. What the hell am I, chopped liver...? Yes. May I dine on you with some fava beans and a nice key-anti! Num num num
  8. I have personally submitted something approaching a hundred copies of H1. I have never received a 9.8. I believe the 9.8 I have in my Master Set was purchased already graded. My god Chris, with the length of time and depth of your Valiant stock, I thought you would be the one of us that would have had multiple hits on this book in 9.8 Personally, I have only ever submitted 1 copy for certification...came back 9.8 white. I suppose I just got lucky.
  9. Wow. First Valiant, now Robotech?! Time to pull out my brick of Macross 1's. Its gonna be a GOOD year
  10. Only 1 yacht?! Im putting my order in for a FLEET next week. Patience truely IS a virtue!
  11. Unfortunately, no. It must be witnessed by someone authorized by CGC to receive the SS label.
  12. Are you saying that Jeff signed 2,000 of the copies prior to selling them? Because, well, that isn't true. Wow, I completely ignored that sentence. BChin22, did you read this somewhere? Schmidtty, I find it hard to think it's NOT true when Smith remarked on that to me himself when I was in Boston Con with him. I asked him how many #1s he's signed in his day and he told me "Probably over 2000--they're always special when I sign them." Sorry, there's just no chance 2/3s of the entire print run of this book has been signed. I'm sure that Jeff has signed a ton of them, but: a) I wouldn't quite trust his memory to remember how many copies of a certain book he's signed over a 20 year period b) He's probably referring to all the printings of #1 combined I've been following the Bone #1 market for years now - if what you were saying is true, the majority of raw #1s coming up for sale would be signed. They're not. +1
  13. The name Marion Cobretti...screams awesomeness!
  14. moneyz. who do you grease over there that they actually send you finished product? He promises everyone from CGC at the next show a Canadian bearhug for every book he gets back UNDER 9.8. Thats ALOOOOOOOOT of bearhugs....
  15. It was going to be just the SW 1, but I didnt want his other books feeling bitter and spited, so all of them get the shove!
  16. Perhaps, someday Ford will be added. But it wont be by me ?
  17. This does not have Ford, but still cool...
  18. UXM Annual 14 is one of the few that I will fight against. It was released by the distributors as an accident too early, and the story in Annual 14 even takes place after UXM 266. I think the market got that one right, IOW. But, that's my opinion. -slym Do you have any proof of the "released by the distributors as an accident"? I'm not suggesting it's not true, but you are the only one I have heard this from, and I bought all of these books brand new (DOFP, included.) Ask Gary. He would know...... Fyi, Darkhawk 1, the FIRST APP of Darkhawk, recently sold for 4 bills on the Bay. Sweet. I LOVE FIRST APPS
