  1. Was "another" grading companies 8.5......
  2. Now my page is a cover too. That sure is a NICE looking Mauser....
  3. that's pretty sweet. When was it printed ... ? Never mind. I just bought it on ebay ... seriously. I see a SILVER holographic cover just sold for $19.99 from comix4all...was that the one you bought? The silver holo is common. This is the GOLD holo. HAHA ... yes, well there you go. I guess that's what happens when you run without the research... hehe. Soooooo, tell me more about the gold .... There you go. It's not a bad price to pay for it, even still. The golds were made for every silver holo cover out there. They are all extremely rare, with the exception of Ultraforce, which was only produced in gold. Most people aren't even aware the golds exist. Was diggin' around today, found a Mantra Gold Holo....neat. ... perhaps you may TJ, perhaps..you..may

  5. I recently picked up a previously owned Epson Expression 836 XL. It is from 2005 I believe and uses a SCSI card. Here are the results at 300dpi with descreening in Office Mode; no resize in Photobucket....
  6. To tell you the truth, I was planning on using the new scanner I recently acquired but before I could re-scan the book, it sold on Clink , setting a new GPA high . If someone here on the boards made the purchase, thanks much and I hope you enjoy the book (thumbs u
  7. Somethin cool you don't see very often....
  8. Fantastic!!! I cant find a solid 3 to save my life! They are out there, it's all what you are willing to pay. To be honest, I have a slew of HG raw Crow books, but honestly aside from a few people here, most are really cheap. I read WTB threads all the time, and own many books that people look for. Unfortunately, my raw 9.8 copper coolness is not to be had for $3 shipped ( an example of an offer I was PM'd) I did own, for a very short time, the absolute SHARPEST Crow 1 CGC 9.8 you would ever see. And when I sold it, I got the price I wanted. Sometimes if you want it bad enough, ya gotta MANNUP I do wish you luck though, they are extremely tough books, but a great CA run to own (thumbs u Thanks (thumbs u I can go as high as 10 on shipping . You are my new, bestest friend. I heart u

  11. +1 While I personally believe in applying a "nothing ventured, nothing lost" analysis with obvious doorknobs that show up here, nothing excuses breach of contract or any other scamming behavior. Breach of contract? That's a little over the top isn't it? Maybe. Not in Ohio, where I am from. Offer plus acceptance plus consideration (which includes the promise to pay) equals a contract. Not performing in accordance therewith is a breach of that contract. Why? Do you believe that it is OK, or that it should be considered OK, to back out of agreements like the one in this example? Not at all. I just don't see breach of contract but to the best of my knowledge in Canada a verbal contract is legally binding if and only if one of the parties has incurred an expense. I don't see an expense here. Does taking half a day off of work count as an expense? Travel costs, ie. fuel, mileage?
