Hmmm..... I wonder if the lucky buyer will join the Vampi #1 club? He/she should be qualified?

James, you know better than that. I wish it were me that got it. Heck, I couldn't even buy that CREEPY 29 that's in Randall's thread, and I wanted it, bad. I do have everyone paid off for the books that I have purchased, though, and that makes me feel good.

How to get followers?
Artifiction replied to Maskedvigilante 's topic in Newbie Comic Collecting Questions
I tried following one or two members, and was surprised when I started receiving notifications for every little post that they made. It made me feel more like a stalker than a follower. So, I stopped following/stalking them. I only wanted to know when they posted a new sales thread! -
Why can't I just be happy with collecting lower grade books? I'd save so much $$ if I could just be happy with books that fall into the good-fine+ category. All I'd have to do is ignore the outer edges of the books, and focus on the centers, but no, my eyes go directly to the even the smallest of faults, and they bother me. In some instances, the faults won't stop me from buying something, but bother me they do, sometimes occupying my thoughts for long periods of time after seeing them. I'm that way with all things that I collect, like vintage, Halloween ephemera, coins, records, cast iron, animal traps, tin cars and trucks, etc. I wonder if there are others that suffer from the same affliction as I do.....

Every time I look at these that bionic man sound effect keeps going through my head.

Infinite Bronze Horror Thread
Artifiction replied to sterlingcomics's topic in Bronze Age Comic Books
I was wondering what the story was about, and now I know! Unfortunately, my OCD won't let me read the books that I buy. I'm almost too paranoid to touch them, much less read them. I'm afraid that I might cause some kind of damage to my minty beauties. I'm not sure if the stories are meant to be logical? I think I prefer them when they're a little on the illogical side. -

Thanks, Steve, and thanks for clarification. I appreciate it. Would be nice to have that cover proof!

So this cover was never actually used for issue #39? The #39's that I've seen have a different cover?? If it wasn't used for #39 then my #96 wouldn't really be considered a reprint, would it? Just trying to figure it all out.

I like the "WEIRD AND HAUNTING TALES OF FRIGHT!" better than I do "COLLECTOR'S EDITION!".
