  1. Ottley does Cintiq layouts, prints them blue line and then does the rest on the page by hand. PC is just to do the layout stage.
  2. Conquest is easily my favorite arc in Modern Comics. The pride of my entire collection is the covers to Invincible #62 which is pretty much the only full body Conquest cover that there is (Even though he is in shadows)
  3. The only reason why there is even an Invincible Facebook page is because I started it as a fan and Skybound made it official. There is a push for Invincible, but the total monthly orders had gone down since Season 2 of The Walking Dead which was when The Walking Dead took off order wise. It should be a much bigger book, but most of the casual Walking Dead readers buy at places other than comic shops that could recommend Invincible to them.
  4. The popularity is because of Robert Kirkman writing it. Seriously. After they advertised that #111 was going to be written by the same person as The Walking Dead more people became interested in Invincible. People seriously thought it was a new thing.
  5. I am not selling them. The only way they are going out is someday to help build the fan base of the official Facebook page. www.facebook.com/invincibleuniverse
  6. Easiest way to tell is look at the colors. When it was printed all the characters looked like they had scales pretty much. RECALLED EDITION The version that was released. I know most of the ones that even went to Skybound office got tossed out, and believe Sina or Cory could still have a few but there are less than 20 of them in the world I believe.
  7. Rare Invincible issues are going crazy at this point. Issue #50 connecting variant sold for 86.50 on eBay this week. Wonder what I could get for the recalled issue #94 whenever I get Cory to sign it? If anyone doesn't know the 94 story, the entire run was scrapped other than the comp copies. There are around 7 copies out in the public. Ryan sent two copies out with sketch books that people bought and gave me 5 of them. Robert and Ryan have signed 4 of those 5 and I am waiting to get Cory to sign someday before I do anything with them. Ryan alone signed one of them which Cory Puga has because he is an awesome fan.
  8. I loved the Yeti and Shapesmith moment. Ottley said that the Yeti Splash was his idea too.
  9. Ryan puts a ton in to his sketches, and when he is trying to man the table, talk to people, maybe sell some other stuff too it's almost impossible to take any sort of bigger sketch list. Exhibitors and dealers usually take up most of his list at a show since they are in first thing.
  10. As recently as 2011 I know you could get a full set up to date of Invincible for around 300-400. Which was complete up until around the Viltrumite War.
  11. There is no lightheartedness in issue #111, but do people forget just 5 issues ago we had an arm wrestling match? Also 105 was a lighthearted fun issue, heck Monster Girl is a Father is a good combo of lighthearted and serious. It was just a rib with the cover, if you don't like it there is a cover that does not have the joking part. It just is paying tribute to 100 issues of Ryan Ottley that you can always buy.
  12. I probably will sell at some point to help fund my finishing my first 100 FF's and Journey into Mystery's. I'd probably rather sell all the Death of Superman stuff at once in a huge bundle, but who knows.
  13. I've had them in a box since 1992. Have a short box filled with all Doomsday related books. Just a stupid amount of some of them.
  14. I'd guess next Wednesday (21st) it will be out. It went to press over a week ago.
  15. 75-78 are amazing as well. Conquest is my favorite comic arc ever personally.
  16. I can't discuss 111 without spoilers, but can not see how it could be considered disappointing. There are multiple shocking moments, and the art is top notch.
  17. 111 is NOT a jumping on point, regardless of the cover. 108 was really the jumping on point for this arc. You start with 111 and probably would be lost. But the covers are awesome especially the Ottley pencil one.
  18. Issue 111 is off to the printers. Get ready to be put through the wrecker with this issue. It's REALLY brutal.
  19. If Invincible 44 is getting super hot then I gave Eric a couple grail pieces for dirt cheap at NYCC 2012. That first appearance of Anissa page has to be insanely hot now and the cover thumbnail too!
  20. On a true shock level this issue pales in comparison to 108.
  21. I usually wait and pick up extras of Invincible down the road. Guess I'm gonna have to hit up Skybound to get a second now or something.
