Hi guys, put the message out via the sales pm but just thought I'd add a note here that Iv added 19 SA ASM books to my sales list. Some have scans but not all yet but will endeavour to add more or pictures if I can't get the bloody thing to work. Please PM me for any details and offers on single or multi deals. Thanks for postage response. Sounds like you have to put a few high value books together under GPA then to make it work. Similar to clink though. Will go have a look but most likely won't have a chance with it being so late

I'm looking at WW2 cover I think, but would be great to have a 1st appearance cover. There was a batman 2 jerry Robinson on the boards a week ago and for a great price and I'm still kicking myself. So in terms of budget I would go to a healthy amount but only if I new it was a good investment. All my comic books are being left to my 2 sons as a future nest egg as my health isn't tip top. In terms of the new sales thread I'd like to say I think it's going well so far and thank the people who bought from me. I was apprehensive as someone who hasn't sold before and it's been great to get some books out there to new homes and to also get positive feedback. I hope the thread keeps going even though it does seem to have slowed the last few days. Just had message from Sharon and she said my economy books hadn't been graded yet and could be another 2 months! Oh well it's only been 4 months so far, half a year seems like a reasonable turnaround for the money it cost to get the books graded.

Even the TMNT are going? Did someone say TMNT? Never read a copy but love the cover work and have some strange pull to read a load of issues. I have slipped into conversation with my other half the hardcover trades that are available if she's looking for a present for me for fathers day. This is just a bit of batman reading recommendation request, prob best aimed at bane being the Batman! I love Adams batman covers but can you recommend a good reading run for bats books of the 70's period which would include some of these classic covers but a good story as well? Sorry to ask such a basic question but I really don't know much about what was being written and want to pick up some bats books from this period to enjoy the covers and art as much as the writing. Morning everyone. Well Iv applied for a membership over on comicpolIs. What does this mean for our pm sales thread? I'm happy for it to see a trail run still. At least we know there will be a target audience involved. What are other peoples thoughts?

I'm not sure if it would be necessary, majority vote may be sufficient for any issues. What does everyone else think? I think we are all good people here that a mod is not needed I agree that we're all good people here and the likelyhood of an unresolved dispute is unlikely, but still saying that in the short time Iv been on the boards I have seen some rows flare up. In these cases it's taken a mod to lay down the law and put a stop to the argument. I'm sure on this small scale it'll be fine though. We can always just refer to some of the senior boards members like Garry or nick if we need a ruling rather than officially appointing anyone. Not that I'm saying who's more senior or anything on the boards

I'm happy to give it until next week to get things started. Will give people including myself time to sort books out and get invloved with the planning process. Sticking to current board rules is a must where can be implemented, with any differences due to format set out as we are currently doing. I think everyone needs to agree at the beginning to the rules so we can avoid any future conflicts, if someone isnt happy then we can make alterations or they can choose not to participate. Is it worth electing someone as a mod or whatever title, for the pm thread to rule on any issues that arise?

Seems like wether to include prices might be a main point so can this be left flexible? I'd sooner see prices if individual comics are listed but then if it's a bulk run being offered an enquiry on issues wanted and cost can easily be made.

Those sound pretty good to me, let's give everyone a chance to reply though before anything is set in stone. In terms of non compliance to rules I suggest a mob style attack on said perpetrator, who after a good thrashing is then displayed in the stocks to have rotten veg thrown at

Ok so if I'm abit slow here then yeah that's just me but a few questions? If I want to buy from an individual do i just pm them alone with what I want or doEs the whole purchase stay within the group pm? Obviously we're not doing I'll take it unless there's prices etc. in light of that do we need to post prices or discuss this with the individual if thier interested? Sorry to complicate things guys I know we're just trying to keep this simple but some guidelines always help. Will mods mind this being done as being confined to pm's?
