Hit a flea market yesterday that we hadn't been to in a few years. One guy that I remembered was still there and had a lot more comics this time (along with tons of cool vintage memorabilia). Unfortunately, he still has the same clue as far as pricing. It's frustrating to see a 2.0 Sub-Mariner #1 for $300 and he won't budge more than $100 off the price. "But a near-mint is $600!" the expert proclaimed to me when I offered some friendly advice. Oh well. I escaped with this handful of books for $45, so I did okay. I might take some crisp $100 bills there and see if I can get him to come down on some of his better books like an ASM #300, GI Joe #155, Star Wars #107, etc. An interesting statement from him (even April thought he talked WAY too much) was, "Cash only...the government doesn't know I do this."
