Yea I've talked to Dale on that copy, I look forward to seeing it at Heroes this weekend if he still has it. Ill need to decide between this book and a Hulk1. Not really a huge DC guy but SC 4/22 are books I'd like to have.

I'll be looking at Heroes if I don't find one there I have a 4.5 lined up. Just didn't want to commit until after the show.

Idk why but Sgt. Fury 1 is a book that I really have not felt the need to chase after. It is probably the lowest on the totem poll for me of Marvel SA Keys. Heck I would almost pick up a SC 22/4 before it. Not sure why just a personal preference really. Still its a great book and that 9.0 looks sweet Joey. I was considering sending you a PM on the 7.0 but I cant let you take all my Heroes money a week before the con.

Thanks guys I was pretty happy to get it. Cant wait for it to get here so that I can get a better scan. I only wish that it had arrived last week so that I could have sent it to Joey for a press and clean before Heroes. Guess ill have to wait and do it before Chicago though.

On a different note I won this book today on eBay. Pretty happy with it though my Heroes budget did take a bit of a hit. Instead of coming home with a TOS 39 or Hulk 1 4.0 next weekend I think I will have to stick to a Strange Tales 110 or Sgt. Fury 1. Otherwise the wife will murder me in my sleep.

That and its a pretty nice looking 4.5 also. I am sure some of the bidders are expecting to turn the book into a higher grade.

earth 2 #2 features alan scott coing out as a gay character. earth 2 #1,2 are selling decently right now, so he's speculating that the alpha flight issue might see some interest. Plus North Stars wedding is the next Marvel Event after AvX

in 1999 when I was an insufficiently_thoughtful_person teenager my Dad (who I had not spoken to in 13 years) gave me all his books in an attempt to reconnect with me. Being the ever so smart 16 year old that I was I promptly read them all and then sold them to the local store. I think I got 600$ total ahh youth. Contents included ASM #1-150 X-Men GSX1 94 -200 Hulk 181 and some other titles that I cant remember mostly Avengers and FF. I want to say that the X-Men and ASM were the highlights though. At least they were to me since they were the books that stuck out at the time when I read them. I obviously didnt know how important they were. I knew that they had value but at 16 600$ free dollars was a lot of money. I think I took it straight to the mall and spent it on clothes. edit: oh and a complete run of ROM which was obviously a huge mistake to get rid of.

Me also 4.0 is my end game for most of my keys would like to have a Spiddey 1 in 4.0 might have to wait for the movie hype to die down though

Eh as long as some people are still willing to pay more for his SS then I guess that's all that matters in the long run. Like I stated above I get my books signed because I like Stan's work. If I had the choice to choose between buying a blue label and a SS for the same price I would choose the SS. Anyways enough about SS this is the ASM #1 club if you want to complain about SS start a new thread now let's get back on topic.
