  1. i think what would make or break his movie would how his done in cameo in BvS and his first full movie in JL.
  2. if all of the movies that come out before aquaman are good and if movie audience like aquaman then the movie should be ok at the box office.
  3. that movie had a lot of problem going for it, and on top of that Will Smith is not the box office hit he once was. has for Margot Robbie i think that was her 2nd or 3rd movie in threaters. i think what matters the most is if the story is great and is directed great then everything else well be alright and wont matter has much.
  4. i think they are going to show fans at SDCC in hall H but wont release it until later in the year.
  5. pictures of the team in between takes.
  6. Warner Bros. Film Chief on 'Wonder Woman,' J.K. Rowling's 'Fantastic Beasts' -script and How DC Will Compete With Marvel "We have a great strategy for the DC films, which is to take these beloved characters and put them in the hands of master filmmakers and make sure they all coordinate with each other. You'll see the difference when you see Batman v. Superman, Suicide Squad, Justice League and all the things that we are working on." "There is intensity and a seriousness of purpose to some of these characters. The filmmakers who are tackling these properties are making great movies about superheroes; they aren't making superhero movies. When you're trying to make a good movie, you tackle interesting philosophies and character development. There's also humor, which is an important part."

  8. i see with SS them using the film to people that all these villains were around doing MOS and most likely before the movie, which would give the universe a lot of history a lot of question waiting to be answer. in BvS the only know heros with are Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman with the rest are given a small cameo Aquaman, flash (most likely in a security camera scene), and victor stone (playing football).
  9. it started with discussion of potential SS box office numbers. When DC announced they were adding Batman to Superman 2 and renaming it, I thought it was too soon. When they cast Ben Affleck cause they thought his academy love that year would dampen any criticism, I cringed and said "you are doing it wrong" When I heard this movie was getting made I thought it would be sweet, and I've liked harley since before she was in comics. Then they announced Will Smith was going to be in it, Now seeing the style and aesthetic they are going for, I really wonder how this film doesnt end up both doing poorly, and bringing down any momentum BvS can manage to hold in light of the Civil War juggernaut. It's too soon be redoing the joker after heath ledgers performance. That forces a radical departure to prevent direct comparison, but ends up giving us pink lamborghinis.... This movie will do great with comic book fans, but with no lead in to build a solid adult audience, and the giant weight of The Dark Knight Trilogy on its back, I dont see how this movie does well. Maybe if there is nothing else near its release date, but if there is any decent sc-fi/action movie it has to compete with, goodnight. if BvS turns out to be good with a great story and SS can follow with great story telling then the mass audience will care now a lot more. if both movies have story and people dont like it then yeah it can hurt them in the long run. i just think their doing a great job on the writing team and director so far, we don't know much of the WW movie until... i think SDCC we should be getting a lot of new information.
  10. I agree with Bob. If their intention was to give people time to transition between Gibson and Hardy interpretations, this is the perfect way to do it - make a Mad Max movie where Max is almost indiscernible from Gibson's max and put in a distraction (like Theron) that is strong enough to carry the movie. I'm betting Hardy get's a MUCH larger road in the next sequel and will be much better accepted as Max, although he didn't do too bad this time around in his limited role. i think right now WB and Miller are in a postion that they can make franchise universe. we can have the main movies with mad max exploring the wastland and have a spin off movies with (theron) character. their are so many characters in this world, that i can see this movie becoming almost like james bond in the future having different actors play the character with some great stories.
  11. i think fox contract is expired and i think the only reason they still have the characters is because they are making movies. i bet if they didn't move fast on fantastic four lastest movie the rights would have gone to marvel. didn't sony redid their contact years ago were they get 100% of the money from the movies and marvel would get everything else like carrtoons, games, toys and not having a problem using him. did again they have a new deal now which is going to work for both Sony and marvel in the long run.
  12. so in the video we get to see if the cowl works in moving side to side. i guess it does

  14. I'm more interested in Suicide Squad than Harley... So explain to me what's appealing about the Suicide Squad because right now I have no point of reference. Ostrander wrote an excellent run on the team in the 80's. You basically get to root for the bad guys as extreme anti-heroes. OK, now that I can understand. (thumbs u plus it could be a way WB/DC expand the movie universe faster and giving it characters history with out going into the origin of the villains.
