  6. Henry Cavill Reveals How Much Longer He Hopes To Play SUPERMAN On The Big Screen How many movies Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck have agreed to do is a complete mystery, but the former seems keen on sticking around for as long as possible following the release of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in 2016. "As many as it takes," Cavill responded when asked by TheAnglophileChannel how many more years he intends to play Superman on the big screen. "I love the character. I love working with Warner Bros. and what they're doing with it, and so fingers crossed I'll be able to tell the story for many, many years to come."

  11. Possible Production Start Date For Zack Snyder's JUSTICE LEAGUE Revealed Justice League: Part One is set to be released in 2017, and so as you might expect, it won't start shooting for quite some time. A rough time frame has been semi-confirmed by Deadline, who point out that Ben Affleck is clearing space in his schedule to direct and star in an adaptation of Dennis Lehane's Live by Night in Spring 2016, with his and David Fincher's remake of Alfred Hitchcock's Strangers on a Train being squeezed in before the DC Comics movie. That means that Justice League will likely start shooting late summer/early fall, but whether or not it will be shot back to back with Justice League: Part Two (which hits in 2019) remains to be seen. Either way, the next year or more will be dominated by Batman v Supeerman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad as it will obviously be quite some time before we hear about this or Wonder Woman! i think we going to hear first more info on SS in a couple of months since they should start filming Apirl or May. Then by summer maybe at SDCC we hear casting news on WW and maybe some footage of BvS and late these year we could hear some casting info on JL.
  12. Brandon Routh On The ATOM's Superhero Suit +Routh is currently reading the 1983 limited series, Sword of the Atom as preparation and inspiration for the role of Ray Palmer. +Routh also divulged an interesting, mild-spoiler about Palmer's backstory on Arrow. " No, [Palmer being a corporate executive] is a totally a new thing to make him able to take over Queen Consolidated. That adds another cool go-getter aspect to him which I think is fun, which is where a lot of his passion and energy comes into the fact that he’s a self-made man in this way. He’s created this huge empire for himself. Now that he’s reached the pinnacle, what is he going to do? He had this tragedy in his life and now he’s going to give back. It’s a cool story." +Routh said he's already tried on the Atom costume and that fans will definitely see it before the end of the season. "The best way to describe it is it’s an Iron Man/RoboCop-ish feel, but different from all those too. Like, something you haven’t seen, exoskeleton as you can see from the hologram, that’s pretty badass." +The interview closes with Routh stating that he thinks Henry Cavill did a great job as Superman in Man of Steel and that he's rooting for WB to succeed in their film adaptations. "They’ve said this movie’s coming, this movie’s coming out, which I think is good. It gives them a bar to go and you have to make sure you reach the bar. So I think that’s cool and having a strong path is [important]. When it started out, everyone said, “Oh, superhero movies, they’re doing well. Okay, now they’re doing really well.” Now having a plan helps everyone feel more confident that they’re going towards something, just like the TV side is building bigger and bigger."
  13. GOTHAM: Rob Gorrie Will Play ROBIN's Father 'John Grayson' We've known Grayson's parents would be showing up in Gotham for quite a while now, and it looks like we have our first bit of casting news for the doomed duo. Rob Gorrie (One Life to Live, As the World Turns) is set to guest star in the upcoming sixteenth episode of the Fox drama series, "The Blind Fortune Teller", and ComicBook.com have confirmed that he will actually be playing John Grayson; father of the future Boy Wonder. Gorrie posted the following image to his Instagram account.
  14. SUPERGIRL: Details On Procedural Elements,"Awesome" Costume And NO Crossovers So, we still don't know who will play Supergirl (which is incredibly disappointing), but CBS entertainment chairman Nina Tassler shared plenty of other details about the series during an appearance at the Television Critics Association's Winter Press Tour earlier today. For starters, Supergirl will be a crime procedural, but don't fret, it will have serialised elements too. "There will be cases, but what [executive producers] Ali Adler and Greg Berlanti pitched was a real series arc for her," Tassler revealed. "The beauty of it is now with shows like Good Wife and Madam Secretary, you can have serialized story elements woven into a case of the week. She’s a crime solver, so she’s going to have to solve a crime. She’s going to get a bad guy." Supergirl - and the direction she'll take in the series - was described at the event as "a very strong, independent young woman. She’s coming into her own. She’s dealing with family issues. She’s dealing with work issues. It’s a female empowerment story. If you look at the strong female characters we have on the air, it really is resonant of that … We’re big feminists. It’s her intellect, it’s her skill, it’s her smarts. It’s all of those elements. It’s not just her strength, which she does have." According to Entertainment Weekly, CBS are hoping to find a lesser known actress for the role, and while we didn't get any casting news today, Tassler did share some details on what they're hoping for from whoever ends up taking on the role. "She’s got to be an every woman. She’s got to be specific. She’s got to be a terrific actor. [it's] looking for someone who embodies both the freshness and the exuberance of being a young woman in today’s challenging climate and being someone who can carry this kind of series on her shoulders. It’s a big, big show." There may not be an actress to wear it just yet, but Supergirl's costume has been made and apparently looks pretty great! "We have seen the costume. Awesome costume." She added that it was designed by Oscar winner Colleen Atwood, the creator of the costumes in Arrow and The Flash. Oh, and talking of those two CW shows, we likely won't be seeing a crossover anytime soon despite what we heard yesterday. "That’s a different network so I think we’re going to keep Supergirl to ourself right now," Tassler added.
