  1. I second that saw it yesterday and what a fun movie.

    Spoiler

the one thing I had a problem was how the cop lady was able to connect everything and that he was behind it but couldn't connect anything to the wife murder.

  2. I think one of the problems is we keep getting movies between 3 & 4 without showing us how bad it is in the universe beside Rogue One. Solo felt like it could have been two movies that showed us why he wanted to become the best pilot in the universe and how he achieved it, and a great understanding of the criminal underworld in star wars. Has for the TLJ we have to wait and see how 9 ends up I love all of the risks they took on TLJ do I wish we could have gotten more with some characters yes I do. with this movie, I have told everyone they can wait for the blu-ray release and go watch any other movie.

  3. ok, I saw the movie yesterday after work with my friend and in the theater, there were about two other people watching it. I gotta say this but the movie was OK nothing great just OK I do agree it does feel like an amazing movie was hiding but never fully realized. it's my lowest of the new star wars films and 3 lowest in my overall star wars films.

And Disney bought Marvel for just 4 Billion, lol. That will go down as one of the biggest deals in corporate buyout history. They got over 5000 Marvel characters (now up to 8000) and have already made over 13 billion just at the box office alone. That doesn't include merchandising rights, which is a BIG one when it comes to both DC and Marvel. They make a decent amount of money off of merchandising. Not to mention Blu-Ray/DVD sales. Again, easily one of the best deals in regards to buyouts in the entire history of corporate America.

    You are not kidding!

Between Marvel and Star Wars, Disney can keep printing money for years through movies, TV shows and merchandising. Not even considering comic books from all these characters.

Let not all forget that if it wasn't for Paramount given Marvel the chances with Iron Man none of these movies and including Disney buyout could've happened.

In all honesty, I don't know how they're going to pull this off with the original cast.  Linda Hamilton is 61, and according to "Rise of the Machines" her character was dead by 2003.  Arnold is 70, and I have a hard time believing that SkyNet would put an R&D emphasis on the pros and cons of putting septuagenarian looking terminators into production.

Star Wars at least had timeline continuity in its favor in order to bring back the vintage cast for episodes VII and VIII.  But for Terminator...are they rebooting back to the 1984 film?  Good luck making that work.  Are we fast forwarding to nowadays through some alternate time fork?  Eeeesh.  Maybe working forward from 1992, and forgetting all subsequent TV and film projects ever happened?  Seems like that might be the best way forward.

I think all of the movies that happen past T2 are not going to be part of this continuity. think of it like T1, T2 and the New T3/T7 reboot are James Cameron true continuity and all other movies & TV shows fall under legends.

I think that is the idea for the new movie, it will be a direct follow-up to T2, and all other movies/tv are disregarded. It will be interesting to see how they deal with the time gap, hopefully they don't try using CGI to make the actors look younger.

I hope they do a time jump and have it that skynet was delayed until now but still succussed at the end of the movie so we can finally see how everything goes down after D-day.

seems like dc has a lot of movies in the 'hopper' now, but how many are 'for sure' other than Aquaman and Flash and WW2?

Batgirl? Birds of Prey? New Gods? Batman? Supes? JL2?  SS2, Green Lantern Corps, and now Blackhawks.  My money is on whichever movie has Harley Quinn as the priority (try to get her in three movies while she's still young).

I would say Birds of Prey, Batgirl is going to happen since they both have the same writer and Batgirl movie is set after the events of Birds of Prey. SS2 would most likely happen since it made money and would start filming sometime next year hopefully. but Blackhawks can be any type of movie it can be a standalone movie with no ties to the DCEU films or it can we just have to wait and see.
