  1. Well, Entertainment Tonight caught up with head production designer Tyler Harron, who confirmed that the gods on the image are indeed meant to be Superman as Zeus (Jupiter), Batman as Hades (Pluto), Wonder Woman as Hera (Juno), the Flash as Hermes (Mercury), Green Arrow as Apollo, Aquaman as Poseidon (Neptune), and the Green Lantern as Hephaestus (Vulcan).
  2. Wentworth Miller Discusses Role As 'Captain Cold' In THE FLASH And Returning To TV In a recent interview with IGN, the actor revealed that he wasn't familiar with the character when The CW first offered him the role, and while he did do some research, Miller didn't want to be beholden to the comics. "When I was cast, I went online and googled a few images and some of them I responded to and some of them I did not and I thought, “Let me take my cue from what the writers have planned." Because I got the sense early on that there was a willingness to respect what’s come before but also an interest in reinventing and giving things a fresh spin. So I thought let me take the character from the pages of the -script specifically," he revealed before going to to discuss what about the role interests him. "What I responded to was this very powerful guy who has been at the top of his game for a long time and maybe he’s gotten a little bored, a little complacent and then suddenly this extremely worth adversary shows up and suddenly the game is interesting again. And I think while he has it out for the Flash, on some level there’s also an appreciation and a certain degree of resect. I like the fact that he’s a villain but there are hints that other things are stirring beneath the surface." As for how he views the character, Miller was quick to point out that Leonard Snart isn't a "bad guy" in the traditional sense of the word. "Well I like the fact that I’m not strictly evil, that there are shades of gray, that there are things for me to explore and layer in that speak to the human side of Snart. Because he does have a history and it is complicated and it does speak to who he is now. It’s my hope that given time we have a chance to explore some of those things." That's an interesting perspective, and one that's actually accurate to the comic book version of Captain Cold! The actor then went on to explain why he's missed working in television (despite a successful career as a screenwriter with Stoker and the upcoming The Disappointments Room), and had this to say when the site asked if he has any words of advice for The Flash's leading man, Grant Gustin. "I don’t know that I would have listened to anyone who came to me with advice in the first season of Prison Break. I think you have to experience it for yourself and it’s impossible to anticipate and it’s probably different to a certain degree for everyone but he’s in for a ride, that’s for sure. But what I know about Grant and I think it’s one of the things that radiates from him on the screen in this character is he’s got this great heart and this innate sense of decency. You believe him as this character. I think given the various challenges of a challenging business, that should serve him well."
  3. it was a fun show and the ending had me like a little kid, i got to say it but their last scene before credits are a lot better then what AOS is doing.

  5. These two films are going to destroy all films that year and most likely cause some heart attacks.
  6. New Details On The Armoured Batsuit And More From BATMAN v SUPERMAN Batman-News have heard from someone who claims to have spoken to Ben Affleck's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trainer while he was in London teaching some nutrition classes over the weekend. According to their anonymous source, he revealed the following. There will be two Batsuits in the movie, both of which we've seen; the regular and armoured version from the leaked San Diego Comic-Con footage. The latter will apparently have Kryptonite all over it AND the ability to shoot missiles! There are also two Batmobiles, and the site point back to an earlier report in which they heard that there would be a flying vehcile in the movie. Finally, we will indeed be getting to see Ben Affleck shirtless, but this isn't just to show off his physique...it's apparently, "beautifully shot and shows Affleck overlooking a destroyed city (probably Metropolis?)."
  7. Malese Jow Joins The Cast Of THE FLASH As New Love Interest For 'Barry Allen' The official description for this version reveals that she is, "a quick-witted reporter for the Central City Picture News. She befriends Iris (Candice Patton) while at work and helps her navigate the fast-paced world of journalism. When she meets Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) at a local bar, the two hit it off and become quick friends."
  8. i think Geoff Johns is taking that position like Kevin Feige since his connected to both the TV and Movies universe. i'm just saying these because it looks like he knows the roads everything is going to take if given the chance.
  9. i like it, it did feel a little messy but it has potential to be a good show and fun.
  10. Warner Bros. Said To Be Eyeing This List Of Female Directors For WONDER WOMAN Forbes claim to have heard that Warner Bros. already have a list of female directors they're hoping will helm Wonder Woman for them in 2017. This list includes Catherine Hardwicke (Twilight), Mimi Leder (Deep Impact), Karyn Kusama (Girlfight), and Julie Taymor, the woman responsible for the disaterous Broadway musical Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark. However, she has found acclaim for her work on The Tempest and others. Also being considered are TV directors Michelle MacLaren (Game of Thrones) and Tricia Brook (The Walking Dead). The site adds that Bigelow, Leder, and Hardwicke, with MacLaren are the main contenders. Academy Award winning director Kathryn Bigelow is of course a fan-favourite choice to helm Wonder Woman, and while the site says that she's in the mix, it appears as if that's based more on speculation than reliable insider information.
  11. Jesse Eisenberg In Talks To Join The Cast Of SUICIDE SQUAD As 'Lex Luthor' Though the roster of the Suicide Squad was seemingly revealed recently, that report was based on an old version of the -script which director David Ayer (Fury) is currently in the process of rewriting before production on the 2016 movie begin next Spring. With Will Smith, Margot Robbie and Tom Hardy all close to signing on to the DC Comics adaptation, a new report over at Deadline reveals that Warner Bros. are in talks with Batman v Superman star Jesse Eisenberg to join the cast! It sounds as if the studio will have to woo him to reprise the role of Lex Luthor in this movie as he's also been lined up to star in Todd Phillips' Arms And The Dudes, meaning he'll have to choose between that and Suicide Squad as he will unlikely be able to do both. The movie which focuses on a group of supervillains who are brought together to tackle high-risk black ops missions for the government is moving along nicely and the addition of Eisenberg as Luthor would be amazing to see play out. It may also spoil the fact that Lex is imprisoned by the end of Batman v Superman!
  12. Geoff Johns talks DC Film and TV Geoff Johns in an interview with Buzzfeed actually explains that they are more connected than thought, "We look at it as the multiverse. We have our TV universe and our film universe, but they all co-exist." Johns said they haven't ruled anything completely out, "There’s been discussions over the years for both, obviously. You never say never. Maybe one day we’ll link a show to a film if it makes sense, but the creative process we’re going through right now is to let the stuff live and breathe and be its own thing and own it."

  15. BATMAN v SUPERMAN Teaser Trailer Is Supposedly Ready; Focuses On Batman According to a few of BOF’s BvS insiders, the first teaser trailer for the film is complete and ready to go. The overt hint I got from these folks is that the teaser will be revealed this Fall along with a November or December film release (and online, of course). I have no idea to which specific film it may be “attached,” but New Line’s (which is Warner Bros.’ sister company) THE HOBBIT: THE BATTLE OF THE FIVE ARMIES is being released on December 17, 2014. By the way Batman fans, I’ve heard that this teaser is “Batman heavy.” if true we can get one for Batman, Superman and then follow with both.
