  2. anyone notice the easter egg from the rise of the governor book?
  3. Annoys me this "stand the test of time" talk. Nobody could have predicted a massive zombie takeover of popular culture. No one would have expected Chew to be successful and I'm guessing there will be a few more surprises along the way in terms of books becoming successful.
  4. Loved the latest issue!!! I can't say anything because I don't want to spoil it but this issue seems like the start of a truly great story arc.
  5. I agree, although he'll probably end up in a wheelchair like Hector Salamanca with a bell called Margaret. I can't wait for the Margaret variant!!
  6. The story goes if I remember correctly.. When he was younger he used to say his name like "wya" and his mum (mom) continued to call it him so he had a strong affection for it. I'm not sure why he changed it though.
  7. So happy they took an Inker on, the art has drastically improved this issue. I hope he stays for the long run.
  8. Apologies I'm a big fan of Chris! I bought the OA for the 98 variant cover. He is such lovely fellow, he sent me a load of signed comics with it along with a few prints and a sketch of Alana and Marko from SAGA.
  9. It was posted by the Image comics twitter account if that's helpful.
  10. Just read #3... Such a good book this! For me, easily the book of the year so far.
  11. Should really spoiler that for the people not up to date
  12. Don't get me wrong I love Y but this book has way more potential. Just imagine (and he's talked about it) him releasing action figures and the amount of other merchandise that he could release. Saga is special and it has nearly doubled the first issue sales after only 13 issues. There is no scheduled end so this book can continue to climb and climb in popularity. Not to mention the awards it has won and the critical acclaim it continues to enjoy.
  13. 'Locke & Key' Movie Gets New Writer, Alex Kurtzman Says "I believe in it so much, and I believe in Joe Hill," Kurtzman said of the "Locke & Key" movie. "All I want is to make that movie." http://splashpage.mtv.com/2013/09/10/locke-key-movie-new-writer/
  14. I hope he has them on his site at some point, I'd really love one.
  15. Where did you hear that? I'll have to find one. Is it a reprint of the actual first issue or a variant on a later issue? Just a print that will be sold by him at Salt Lake Comicon and Baltimore Comicon, he said so on his blog.
