  1. I get your point. I was on my 4th XBox when I traded it in for the new Slim model. What you are forgetting, or more my point, is despite all the limitations, XBox has outsold Sony time and time again. Microsoft can do that with a system that breaks down AND charging for live service. You have to wonder why that is possible. Personal feelings or bias aside, sales numbers don't lie. I have by no means done extensive research on this, but according to this article the 360 has sold more, but the ps3 has sold more every year since they have both been released. The only reason it appears the Xbox has sold more is because of its early release. It doesn't look like its outselling it time and time again. http://gamercheeese.com/2013/02/18/xbox-360-vs-ps3-the-console-wars-numbers-game/ Yep, people always forget that the 360 had a head start with sales but as you mentioned the PS3 has outsold the 360 year v year and has lifetime sales actually caught up and over taken recently. http://www.vgchartz.com/article/250980/playstation-3-lifetime-sales-overtakes-the-xbox-360/
  2. Wow! How lovely of her, you got a special Mum.
  3. Really enjoying Invincible Universe and I love Todd's art
  4. I think RRP is more accurate in this case, as it was created for the retailer summit. Retailer incentive covers are an "incentive" for ordering a certain number of copies of a particular book. RRP = "Retailer Roundtable Promotion"...a comic book that is a gift for attending the retailer summit. The thing I don't get though, CGC notes RRP right? This book just is noted as a Variant copy. That makes me wonder... And 300 copies? Wow that is an incredibly low print run. I'm going to be totally honest though, I don't see this book taking off like we think it will. The book is good, but it is no where near the level of Saga or WD. There is just too much speculation right now and I think it is hurting some of these modern books. I also don't think the cover has the eye appeal. We will see, but even Saga has sort of maintained where it is on the market. I have a SS copy of number 1, and they aren't even moving on eBay anymore. I tried to sell it to my LCS in a trade and he wouldn't have it. He didn't think he'd move it as he said his sales of the book had slowed. I also think the Sixth Gun debacle is going to hurt the modern speculators. Time will tell, but we are barely three issues in to this series and people seem to be getting ahead of themselves. I agree and I prefer Hickman's work on Manhattan Projects, much better book than East of West.
  5. Look in the pocket of the kit... that is not a full sized comic. That's a very early image in more recent images you can see it is full size. The statue is listed as 12 inches
  6. This one? DAN But it's not an employee only variant as I have posted above.
  7. That's not true, that supposed variant is included with all of the PS3 The Last of Us special editions. It definitely won't be rarer than the standard 1st print as Sony will make at least a 100,000 of those special editions to sell all around the world. Like shown here in the Joel edition
  8. Probably because the review scores for the game are in IGN 10/10 Eurogamer 10/10 Eurogamer IT/Sp 10/10 Edge 10/10 CVG 10/10 Destructoid 10/10 Machinima 10/10 Adam Sessler 5/5 thesixaxis 10/10 Gamereactor 10/10 VideoGamer 10/10 ibtimes 10/10 PS-Lifestyle 10/10 Digital Spy 10/10 Digital Fix 10/10 Post Arcade 10/10 speciogames 10/10 Gamingbolt 10/10 Godisageek 10/10 OPM 10/10 Pushsquare 10/10 PS-Nation 10/10 Giantbomb 5/5 Techdigest 5/5 Gamesradar 5/5 TheMirror 5/5 Guardian 5/5 Telegraph 5/5 Gameblog 5/5 CheatCodeCentral 5/5

  10. Why though? What makes them so valuable? I could understand if the blanks weren't readily available but I see very little difference to these and someone commissioning an artistic and getting one sketched of something they want.
  11. It shouldn't It's doesn't matter that peter panzerfaust is under the Shadowline label or Thief of Thieves is under the Skybound label
  12. Read all three and Think Tank is on another level compared to most comics out there today.
  13. #34 was fantastic as usual! Felt a bit special this issue
  14. So the Saga RRP at 500 was just a guess? Yep I'm pretty sure it was quoted on Diamond's website at the time.
  15. Prices are a bit strong, I didn't expect that! $1500-$2500 for a splash
  16. I won an auction from the same guy for Revival 1 & 2 CGC 9.8 for.....wait for it........$61 Poor guy!
  17. Nowhere Men first prints #1 & #2 both CGC 9.8 for $78!! http://www.ebay.com/itm/NOWHERE-MEN-1-2-CGC-9-8-IMAGE-Comics-low-print-run-walking-dead-saga-/181139094900?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item2a2cbb3d74
  18. I agree that the price will probably be upwards of $300 but to compare East of West to Saga is silly. Saga has a much broader appeal than East of West. Saga is unique in that nearly everyone who I have recommended it to (including my mother and sister) love it!! I just can't see that same broad appeal of East of West and I guess that will affect it's desirability and price.
  19. We need an Invincible blank, someone sort it out!
