  1. Super fast payment, friendly, great boardie!
  2. I know that book is nice, indeed! 2/4...have no idea, who knows about some of the stuff written on comic books. One collection I saw, some dork wrote their prices they were selling them for ON THE BOOK itself. Ugh.
  3. I can't wait to be SHOCKED, oh boy. SHOCKED.
  4. 9.2..wow, tough grader that day. From looking at this pic, I see no real flaws on it anywhere! Nice pickup...Morbius is one of my fav characters.
  5. Ms. Marvel is definitely spiking - I'm getting strong results for raw copies. Wow, I wouldn't have thought....going through a long box, found a bunch in pretty much unread shape - 3 and up issues - was going to $1-2 them out. Amazing how the cycles work.
  6. Fast payment, fine transaction! A+ customer!
  7. All I know is, after viewing this and seeing 7 different people commenting on off-base grading, that would send alarm bells off in my head if I were them, for sure. That's a trend, not an isolated random experience, IMHO.
  8. Yeah, I noticed that too...whoever drew that cover, ick. Too cartoony for my taste...no wonder it was the last issue!
  9. Tom and Jerry's Winter Fun 7 Four Color 1073 Four Color 1150
  10. I pack with bubble envelopes (had one seller on ebay ship to me in a manilla envelope, with just bags on the books, eek!) and reuse the cardboards I get from other sellers. Always pretty much boarded and bagged. Nothing worse than raw books being sent through any mail system without at least some padding and protection. Over the years, have received some books ruined by poor packing.
  11. is the right answer. It could be that "up to 5 ticks" that the above poster mentioned seeing on a 9.0, could also get you an 8.5, or some other grade, on a different book.. I wish there was a definitive answer to this too. Sorry, but I don't think there is, at least certainly not from CGC. Perhaps some seasoned veterans (collectors/dealers) out there have established their own methods though, I'd be interested to hear about those. For me anyway, any more than 3 color-breaking spine ticks or dings eliminates it from any sort of 'NM' designation instantly, unless the rest of the book is pretty much flawless. Not sure if that makes me picky, but that's my thought.
  12. Nice book, Brian48..those DC 100 pagers weren't well made and can be annoying to get in really high grade.
  13. Maybe not worth a scan, but picked up a few Daredevil and Avengers mid-70's books that literally look like they came out new last week, almost flawless. Probably 9.6-9.8's or so...for 99 cents each on EBay. Good for me, not so good for the industry, I suppose.
