  1. because it is awesome and I will throw a spoon at anyone who disagrees...
  2. That's a fast $150 in someone's pocket! *shudder* *waits for the next TWD #100 variant*
  3. I agree 100% I simply dont understand why people complain about variants.... See attached quote. Personally I like variants as it makes the collecting aspect more fun for me and certainly doesnt take away from a good story. If I dont like something then I dont buy it. Seems pretty simple to me Nail on the head. I'm not speaking for anyone in particular but from reading the threads in modern forum in general the impression I get is that people either: a) Complain about many variants because they can dilute the perceived value of a book... maybe it's a speculation thing. Fair enough, but a large chunk of the market (market potential) is being reclaimed by retailers right now... and fair play to them because it's what they should be doing while it is so buoyant. Also it shouldn't really affect anything with a low print run or high enough interest. If I was speculating on something I would probably be worried about Retailer X putting half their stock of Cover A in the shop and the other half marked up on ebay from the get go.... not the variants. b) It has reached saturation point in their collection / pull list and they are fed up with them. Why do they complain? They are just voicing an opinion which they are fully entitled to do. (Playing Devil's advocate) If you flip that then you could say "I have no idea why people are getting so excited about variants, they certainly don't add anything to the story. If they like them then they should just buy them. Seems pretty simple to me." sorry for the derail... your normal Bedlam service will be resumed in 2 days time
  4. They have Walking Dead everything.... I bet if you googled "walking dead bikini" you would find one... ...wait a minute ... yup there it is... turn left at the walking dead bikini promo calendar video shoot, straight past the blog posts and it's on your right in a completed ebay listing.
  5. Jim needs that one nah he just needs a strong gold chain to wear his TWD bling
  6. Well the pages have been flying out of Splash this month so far. 8 days after the last 21 (DPS counts as one) were added only another 4 or so need to go before the numbers start decreasing again. This doesn't include anything on hold either. There are still at least 20 days to go before any further additions. Irrespective of the price increases in September and October the OA on Splash is still hot right now. Nothing left below #60. It's nothing to go crazy about regarding potential future ebay prices etc, there's still a pretty consistent amount of pages up... I just find it interesting and a contrast to the correction that may be going on with the books. Hell I can't afford anything else right now and I don't plan on selling any anyway What I did want to ask is does anyone on here have access to the full or 6 month CAF market data and would be willing to put a one off dump my way? (PM please). The nerd in me likes having spreadsheets.
  7. Looks like Catwoman #13 is starting to thin out now in the UK. Another couple of weeks and it should pop back up in price. Batman #13 still has further to go. Batgirl #13 is crazy...
  8. wow... that box must have had a lot of empty space in it to get beaten up that badly
  9. There's still a little bit of me that hates myself for criticising this when I have blatantly made good money selling marked up TWD comics... anyway... *grabs popcorn*
  10. (took me two minutes to stop laughing before hitting reply... thanks for that)
  11. yup... where is a steaming turd emoticon when you need one?
  12. don't know about axe envy (above) but I am getting page envy ... any particular page numbers or are we going to have to wait?
  13. *edits notes to self about Jerry* loves drawings of large weapons - check ✔
  14. Now that is a great piece of CA work right there... love the detail on the zombies and the view from their perspective. Think more panels or story could be told through their eyes, just as a changeup from the human struggle.
  15. Silly question... I haven't touched/touched on this book yet. Am I missing out story wise? The art looks great.
  16. that is pretty f****** dark... in fact I have been left wondering as of late if Kirkman has anything left up his sleeve that is still going to shock us and that would definitely do it. and whatever happens
  17. I did... should have quoted your post of all the pages incoming, comment would have made more sense as I didn't refresh to see where my reply came in. Was pretending to be in denial. tired
  18. Yes that was predicatable.... but not straight away at that price. The #85 double splash did not go for as much Shows things have moved on.
  19. @Jerry : I'm not jealous.... besides you probably have a really really small .
  20. Yes, but: Very interesting theory! the other impression i get from the dialogue is that
