General observation... 9.9 typically goes for 3x the 9.8 rate. Since a PP #1 9.9 would be the first and crazy hot right now, I would guess it would go on the higher end of my spread. But then again, you can't rationalize what a die hard collector will be willing to pay for a rarity like a PP 9.9. Side note: sold five PP #1 9.8 slabs last year between $150 and $200 each. Calling Doc Brown.

3 is tough b/c of dark cover. 4 not as bad. 5 was tough for me too, but not as bad as #3

H8 reserve auctions. I won't even bid on an item with a reserve. Just list it BIN so people know what you want and be done with it. Reserve is like a mind game (if you hit the magic number, then you might win my item). Pass. But it is funny to see a reserve on that item.

This is one of the reasons why I am certain I would drop out of any registry competition? I'm just not going to buy yellow slabs for the sake of the registry. I'm not a yellow hater but I prefer to get my books signed myself and being in the UK its neither easy or cheap. I can guarantee, if I had a complete 9.8 set of Saga I would not be first due to the extra points someone with less books than me would have if they decide to pay the yellow premium. Agreed. Unless the series as a whole is incredibly hot, or the collector absolutely loves the series, slabbing every single print is nutty. But, it is a competition and it's fun so whatever. I think if I started down that road, it would drive me crazy to not be #1 and would break my bank to stay there.
