  1. I gotz one of dem der' numero two's
  2. I enjoy seeing the Saga hordes. I think it's very kewl! (thumbs u
  3. True. I don't expect 9.9's though. It's really lightning in a bottle. Less than a 1% chance of landing one, but it is nice when it happens. I dig the subbing process (the wait is not always fun, but it's nice to get surprises - of course there are disappointments as well, but that's a part of the game).
  4. Since we are talking about it, what's you favorite #1 variant cover? I like Third Eye (second would be NYCC regular)
  5. and your 9.9s It's called getting lucky...
  6. I'm telling ya thats going to be me. Every issue..no 2nd prints unless its something insane. I wish Image would keep to their word on not print them. You subscribed to dre? Finally did it myself not long ago. That's a lot of hassle out of it. Thinking about slabbing every print of my Saga. I think I have 9.8 candiadates of every print. Still thinking... Dre's subscription service is awesome, but I enjoy the hunt and anticipation.
  7. What is sad is I think content wise this blows Saga away! Tough one. SAGA = dream. BEDLAM = nightmare. Both = AWESOMENESS!
  8. Hey Pike- I was referring to story content, not covers or value. The overkill of #1 covers for Bedlam was extremely ambitious and presumptive (and as a collector a bit of a turn off - "so you've got a unknown pressumably hot new title and you want me to buy HOW MANY variants right out of the gate??" We've beat that horse to death again and again. I like that titles like Think Tank and Saga only have one variant that makes it exclusive for die hard fans (and people really chase after them - which is fun).
  9. Nice Andy. You'll be fine with those, no worries. Bedlam is one of THE BEST new books of 2012. Things can happen overnight. Look at the insanity that is happening to SAGA, Manhattan Projects, and Peter Panzerfaust. Bedlam (IMHO), is better than at least one (PP), maybe two (MP), of those titles.
  10. It's always fun to see raws going for nearly twice what you've sold 9.8 slabs for less than six months ago.... Insanity. I know I can't say anything. I'm sure there are tons of stories where people were selling TWD #1 for $25 back in the day and thought that was high.
  11. You'll never do it. That's not a dare, just a fact. I don't think I've ever seen you sell anything, and the thought of you selling Saga is more insane than "Saga-insanity 2013"
  12. Yeah, but that's including my beater copy #1... Whatever I'm keeping it.
  13. I now have four complete first print sets (no RRP and don't see one in the future). If I pick up another #1 first print, I'll have five. I'm pretty happy with those numbers
  14. YES!!! Michael Scott is alive! Bedlam is too thick (I think a few of mine might not have bindery tears, but not sure). 9.9 may be out of the question on Bedlam #1. Hoping I can land a 9.9 for Nowhere Men (most look sharp, with some without bindery tears). We'll see...
  15. Come on gents... let's play nice.
  16. If you are going to go - Go Hard
