Been absent of late

I'm Ryan. I love Silver through Moderns, but mostly Marvel with a few select DC in the SA-CA and Image for moderns.

What did you guys think about the one-shot "world" book?

 

Looking forward to continuing the journey in EoW (one of my favs)

 

Go a couple pages back.

No one was overly impressed, but I liked it just because it was EoW related.

 

All in all, it's probably not worth the cover price unless you are a die hard EoW fan.

Just pulled the trigger on this sweet Bronze Age Book "White Pages"

Been "unplugged" of late, but suffice it to say... this is awesome. I have a 9.2 of this book and love it.

I like the idea... but maybe "Don't HusTruck me, bro..." on the front, and "I GOT HUSTRUCKED!" on the back.

I was finally about to get a MoS 18 5th Print about a month or two ago.

Do I want more Invincible? Yes.

 

Do I want it every month on time? Absolutely.

 

Do I want Kirkman's other stuff too like Walking Dead? Yeah...

 

What I don't want.... is for Kirkman to give Invincible to another writer just so it can come out on a monthly schedule.

 

So I'll take the "SAGA schedule" for Invincible. It is what it is.

My prob is that it doesn't show up on my DCBS preorder b/c it wasn't ready and so I have to make a small order somewhere to get it.... But it's worth it ?

New #1 in March. New format, though, sounds like series-of-mini-series (a la HELLBOY and THE GOON), with each mini centered around a small group of characters (if not a single character).

 

At the end of #25, we've got these separate groups:

 

Yuri/Laika

Von Braun

Einsteins/Feyman

Groves/Westmoreland/LBJ

Harry

 

...and if you look closely, the return of a major character is hinted at...

 

At some point, when everyone's story has been told, I expect they'll all be brought back together for the finale. Can't wait.

The Civil War inside the mind of Oppenheimer is some of the best comic writing/art I have been exposed to in recent years. The duality, the war within, the struggle to reclaim the mind.... outstanding!

What's the deal with the recalled #94?

 

The initial print run looked HORRIFIC. The printing left, what looked like, scales on everyone. Only the Skybound team got them and they were destroyed. The only copies you could get of them were from someone who worked on the book.
