  1. Are you the guy that proposed to his GF in the letters column? If so, classic (thumbs u
  2. Thanks cdrag, we encourage continued pot stirring (thumbs u
  3. Tater... don't run off. After a while you get to the apathy, then you can truly win every debate
  4. I should use the word "soliloquies" more...
  5. Wall of text: Mash Tater Man: I'm sure there is something good in there somewhere, but I'll never know... From one of the wisest professors in my academic career:
  6. this thread started off with a boatload of people piling in talking about how many copies of this they had pre-ordered. Followed by many other people then trashing the book saying it would flop in secondary value a la bedlam. Followed by others saying quality is what matters, not print run, a la Saga. viperdays was one of the people who bought 100 copies, and it led to a lot of side arguments, and an underlining current of discussion on bubbles, methods of ordering comics etc. Really, the recent sub-subjects are par for the course in this thread . Anyway, let's get back to money with numismatic value!! midtown can make 9.8s, who knew Thanks for the info (thumbs u I would have explained MK, but CBT likes to explain things
  7. The man. The myth. The legend.
  8. The answer is..... Outsourcing. Outsourcing shall destroy the comic market in North America Sounded good
  9. Everything you said CBT..... True. One thing you haven't considered. This forum is not the center of the comic universe. For every one of us, there's a thousand people who read comics and don't know what's coming out next Wednesday. Just a thought..... PS: you're still the great and powerful Oz in my book
  10. Bubble talk is futile. No one knows tomorrow. IMHO, it equates to the Mayan calendar, Nostradamus, the Loch Ness Monster, and the theory of Atlantas. All (all) markets have corrections, ups, downs, side to side (Karate Kid), but like the stock market, past performance doesn't dictate future trends. Too many variables are in play to predict gloom and doom OR fields of gold (Sting). Have fun. Don't go all in on any one title. Listen to CBT. I mess with him but he's really bright and shiny.
  11. Sometimes, talking to CBT makes me feel like this kid... But, I still <3 ya
  12. Just read #6. A little disappointed with the way the "Angel" story resolved, HOWEVER, hugely gratified by the setup for the next arc!!!!!
