IMHO, the cover is only one factor in a series of factors: (1) over-hyped (2) violence (3) questionable cover art (4) too many great titles competing for attention (5) too many variants (6) speculation We have addressed each of these (exhaustively), however, I still don't get the violence (2) turn off when soooo many other series are at or above the same content. Regarding number four on my list, it seems like every month (or other month) a new title is coming on the scene and dominating over previous great titles. Nowhere men was the talk of the town until EoW popped up. Both are awesome, but speculation is a factor as well. Book four was great though. It's definitely an experience and I'm so glad I bought the hardcovers b/c I know I will reread this series. I'm looking forward to SAGA hardcovers someday and I need to pickup TWD hardcover (have the compendiums, but want something that will last my lifetime and that I can will to my children ).
