Would you be interested in a raw ASM 300 or 301 in that grade range?
No, sorry. Just the 2 mentioned. Thanks though

Reminder... I will trade for an ASM129 (around a 9.0) or DD1 (around a 5.0), just let me know if you have something close

Hello,
Wasn't necessarily planning on getting rid of this - my intentions were to de-slab it and keep it in my PCH collection - but as we know in this hobby, every now and then we need to make some tough decisions.
Rules:
1. Nobody from the Hall of Shame or probation list2. Price includes shipping (tracked) to anywhere in North America (CDN & U.S). Please reach out to me if purchasing from elsewhere for a shipping quote.
3. No returns as the book is graded.
4. Payment to be made via Paypal only.
5. I will consider trading for an Amazing Spiderman #129 CGC white page 9.0-9.4 or perhaps a Daredevil #1 CGC 4.5-5.0. We can balance the trade out via some cash (paypal) if required.
6. Time stamp either in thread or via PM wins.
Of note: I am currently in the process of moving (close date mid Aug). It MAY take me a couple weeks to get the book out so please be patient. Rest assured I will try my best to get it our asap and will keep you in the loop.
PM with any questions. Cheers.

Maybe I missed it but is this a purge of your collection or are all (most?) Of these your extra copies?
Amazing stuff!

Wow, after your post I went and looked around, and it looks like it came and sold out in minutes at IST and the other usual sources. Dang! Looks like the only option is to pay nearly retail price for it at Amazon when it hits next week. That stinks. It's crazy how inconsistent distribution has been in the post-COVID world. Several volumes have come and gone in a flash, yet there are others that continue to be easy to find. The problem seems to just be with Marvel, as most DC releases from the last couple of months continue to be easy to find.
Oh well, I guess $90 is better than $200-$300 it could hit once it sells out, better place my Amazon preorder!
Dang!
Looks like I missed it! I even said I need to go preorder it.
I have to check the local haunts tomorrow and see if they got one in.

I could have sworn the Silver Surfer omnibus was just reissued in the last week or so. I saw it a couple weeks back.
Look on amazon.ca tonight and... nothing

I just want to say that this is one of the best, most informative topics on these boards.
I still bust it out from time to time to get a visual for some diff things I'm considering for my raws.
Free bump for the newbs on the site who may be interested in it.

Ra's? Really?
Like for real?

One thing that has annoyed me a little is all the live auctions.
I have 2 young kids. I run my own business. I can't watch your IG live for 3 hours to bid on the couple books I'm interested in. Virtually impossible.
Claim posts (just like on these boads) are MUCH better imo but to each their own.

Not to resurrect an old thread (I guess that's exactly what I'm doing here) but I started my own IG comic account and have really enjoyed it to be honest. It's most certainly a tight knit community but having said that, it's a pretty large group! There are tons of great books constantly being shown/sold.
One thing I have noticed is that it's much more "modern" oriented. While Gold/Silver and Bronze age to an extent are showcased, they seem to be in the minority. A lot more Modern and Copper type of stuff. Still... it's been a cool platform to discover and has actually allowed me to enjoy my collection more via posting pics, etc.
Follow me! (Shameless plug)

I dont have as long a tenure as you (only about 8 yrs) but I certainly see the change as well. Still... every now and again we get one of these fun threads filled with banter and great books (Dale Roberts Christmas sales every yr, octobers big sales threads, and this one).
Many thanks for the stack of books this time around Roy. Looking forward to the next one.

Probably mostly for nostalgic reasons but that was a fun time in the hobby for me.
