  1. Do you get points for that?? I have no idea how the points work, I posted that both times before the previous two locks and got no points so far.
  2. I assume you are talking about me?
  3. Epic Kill (sorry to relate it to this as I hope this book is more popular) started out with the same '1 of 5' numbering then after issue 2 or 3, it changed to just standard numbering.
  4. Hope it works. I would love to have a "signed by HugeRosen on 3/25/13" on a CGC SS Yellow label.
  5. I looked into it acutally. I thought one of CGC's requirements is that the SS person has to have at least something to do with the book they are signing? If not, the next time a CGC witness is present, I will be signing my own copies.
  6. I'm available to sign for #3 if anyone would like. I charge Stan Lee type fees per signature.
  7. Wait, WHAT? Per Fiona via Twitter on March 13th
  8. I still can't get over Lori's handle-bar mustache aka her lips.
  9. No. No man-room yet. But when I do buy a place, the first thing on my demand list is a man room and it will be the first thing on the wall. I tried putting #5 on the wall in the hallway. I was over-ruled.
  10. When May was interviewing the Creamator, she came in and asked May to call her mom and that she was cold I always forget that FCBD had an original story in it.
  11. I wanted to buy that OA but don't have the cash right now. Plus it'd just be another Revival cover I can't hang up on the wall. Showed this one to the wife first this time. Said the girl 'creeped her out'. Still love Jenny's work.
  12. No freckles and/or not asian makes ThoseBackPages unhappy.
  13. I think you and I just became best friends
  14. Mine as well before you started being rude to members about "supposed" sales prices. I was simply posting my book(s) and then you started attacking, instead, of giving contructive criticism. I do not know why are indirectly calling me a troll when I am typing information pertinent to the thread and not causing conflict, rather, I am only responding to your uncalled for comments. R_H It was YOUR friend who came on here asking how much YOU could sell it for if you wanted to. I gave my opinion based on sales history, then you came on and posted this: Then you start posting about how sales of #1's are better price points for #2's rather than actual sales of #2's. I said multiple times I hope you sell it for as much as you can. However I don't like to be ASKED for my opinion then called out on it because you don't agree with me.
  15. What are you talking about? Do elaborate, or are you going to edit your comment yet again? What does the term inflated have anything to do with what we are talking about now? The proper term would be going rate; not inflated rate. I am actually pursing a doctorate, so learn to read properly before assuming as I recently finished my 2nd master's degree and am pursuing my doctorate simountaneously (sorry for the big word). BTW, it is also so cute that you have a want list in your signature line. Maybe one day you will aspire to fulfill that list, since it is not a tough list at all... Oh yeah...this was in my common box that I forgot I had, interested? R_H Rofl - Apologies indeed
  16. That's the sales data for #1. He has a #2. It's worth more because it has a lower print run and a controversial cover. And the sales data for those don't matter because he has 2 masters degrees.
  17. This used to be my favorite thread. All these recent locks brought the trolls out. I sense another one coming.
  18. If your entire math equation wasn't based on the purchase history of one person, it'd still be wrong considering you are using pricing of #1's, not #2's. And the ACTUAL sales of #2 you are tossing out the window as 'not an adequate gauge of proper sales' while using the 4 sales of #1 9.9's and the 7500 sale of #1 10.0 like they are an accurate number. So to answer your question of "did I miss something, HugeRosen?" My answer is yes, you are missing a lot.
  19. Yes, you are right, they are worth $50,000. Congrats. Not sure if he thinks he could get 50k, but he would get more than 1k. You think there is only 1 hulk44. Ugh, again, I hope this guy gets thousands and thousands for this book. It only increases the value of my stack. But to your point, yes, there is only 1 hulk44. There have been 3 #2 9.9's for sale so far. Sold for $200, $200, and $250. Has there been any movement up in price for Revival since then? No. I'm sure he's excited which we all would be if I got a box from CGC with a 10.0. I'm not trying to rain on a parade. But when someone asks what it's worth and I give an opinion and get countered with a $7,500 sale example of a #1 SS, instead of looking at past sales of the exact same grade and issue, that's just nonsense.
  20. Yes, you are right, they are worth $50,000. Congrats.
  21. pics or it didn't happen... Soon, I promise.
