  1. This is the first im hearing of a controversy. Also, Blaine is far from main or important, at least through 8 issues +1 Never heard anything about controversy. Walking Dead #2 has a lower print run also. Doesn't make it more desirable than #1. Maybe $500 is the low end. But I don't think I'm way off. At least not right now. If TV news comes out (like ur Panzerfaust example), then yes, it will be worth more. 10's sell on average for 2-3x more than 9.9's. 2-3x past 9.9 sales is between 400-750. EDIT: BTW, I'm probably sitting on more Revivals than most people on these boards so I'm not trying to lowball these numbers. If he decides to sell it, hope he gets thousands and thousands. Just giving my honest opinion.
  2. You can't base anything off the #1 sale. That's like trying to sell your 1000 sq ft condo for 20 million because the mansion across the street sold for 20 million. Unless he sells it to Hulk, he shouldn't think that he's getting 5K for it.
  3. Mutiple 9.9's for #2 sold for $200. 10 would get $400-500 IMHO
  4. I've been noticing a flat trend lately. I listed 9.8's on here for $75 this past week, no takers. I think someone said GPA this year is around $85 but not sure exactly. $75 seems to be the low # on the bay lately. It's not dropping a lot but I don't see it running up much either. I think it's in a holding pattern till we see any more tv/movie news or something dramatic happens in the comic.
  5. You are still getting a bike. Now there's just a couple special edition bikes coming out also. Which means you may not be able to re-sell your regular bike for as much as you wanted to. And if you want the inventor of the bike to feel bad for you, I think he may tell you where you can put your shiny new bike,
  6. Besides Merle dying, I think you just predicted the end of season 4.
  7. I think I saw that on Cinemax the other night
  8. Anyone got a line on OA for this? I liked some of those pages of the preview
  9. Bingo. Not the prettiest setup but I like it. Gives me a chance to admire them when I am on business calls in the home office. Better than shutting them away in a box like my ToT 1-12. NICE! I was gonna ask same question about what's holding them up. You ever try command strips? My wife uses them for picture frames. I don't know if i'd put them direct on the slabs but it may work.
  10. Gonna take this time to post this again since we are discussing the OA and I like to gloat sometimes:
  11. I was actually wondering this myself... I know I bought the original pencils to the cover, but it would be cool to own both. I think ideally, it'd be nice to have both. Separately, the pencil piece has more value as the "true" original...but the blueline looks more finished. It'd be too hard to choose! Still can't get over that a single copy of the comic is worth more than all the OA covers so far (sorry!). I agree that the pencils are more 'original' and long-term, I think they'll be more desirable. On the other hand, I like the look of the blueline and, as a more casual Revival fan, the $250 price tag is attractive. I don't think you can go wrong either way. Congrats, Ash! Absolutely. For re-sale value, I'd assume the pencil 'original' may be more valuable but they are both original in their own way. The blueline has details that the pencil doesn't that shows up in the final printed comic so it is unique in it's own way. I have only seen the pencil version up close of the one I bought and it's gorgeous. Looking at it online side by side with the blueline makes it look less desirable but I guarantee to anyone who gets the pencil versions, you won't be disappointed. That being said, don't buy any of them until I make my next choice on which one I want.
  12. I was actually wondering this myself... I know I bought the original pencils to the cover, but it would be cool to own both. Explanation from Paolo who is Jenny's rep: "Jenny does a penciled version (which we consider the primary original). She then prints the pencils on another version and tones the blue lines with graphite color pencils. It is a split process because she likes the way each of the paper holds each of the pencils." The pencil is really the 'original' but if you look at the whole process, there are subtle differences from the original to the graphite to the cover. And yes, it would be cool to own both, in a frame, with the printed comic...
  13. Felt like a quick read this week. Now I have to wait another month.
  14. Powerball tonight. I'll buy everyone in here 10 copies of East of West if I win
  15. That could be it. Doubt anyone has been sending any Epic Kill's in to be graded,
  16. Not sure. I don't really do the registry sets. I was planning on doing it for Revival but the phantoms came out and completely put me off from doing it. Plus I don't collect SS books so my shot at #1 is miniscule
  17. I picked up my #8's today. Excited to read it as soon as I get home.
