  1.

    That is it.

I was showing portions because the detail in the drawing is awesome.

Don't know why it still lists it 'on hold' as I've had it in hand since last Monday.

I loved the image since i first saw it on the DCBS website.

When I saw it was for sale...I jumped on it.

Got lucky that the book was as awesome as the cover.

    Nice pickup! (thumbs u

I almost bought it when I saw it was only like $250 or something but when I went back to decide, it was on hold. :( I thought it looked so much better than the regular cover art that sold for 600.

  2. I put 2 in my cart like 8 min ago and by time i hit check out, it was gone. They must've only had a couple in stock. I got 2 from them last week when it first got released so I guess it's ok. You can find them on ebay for same price (bout $10) but usually only in lots of 1 and shipping is $5.

The 2 I received will be hard to get a 9.2 as a grade. These will be on mePay soon.

i got 2 from midtown this week that are in very nice condition, easily 9.8. Went to an LCS today at lunch, a store had about 10 copies of Revival sitting there....i think it got lost in the WD 100 fever.

The two I got from midtown could be 9.8's but probably 9.6's. I haven't been happy with a lot of the comics from midtown lately. And they pack very well so i know it's not shipping damage.

  3. I do not want to bring out the lawyer talks so i'll just end this convo by giving in and admitting i'm wrong. Although I haven't seen a good branget vs nico fight in a while.

I think it's a given that Kirkman is the one with the best shot at having this be his lotto-ticket creation.

He's a creator on the book, and an exec. producer on the show. So between everything I'd be shocked if it wasn't more than a million, especially with a third season almost fully filmed.

Adlard on the other hand, he came in later, and we have no way of knowing his deal.

I'll agree on that. Kirkman is COO of Image too so he's pulling in $ there. I just figured Adlard has some piece of the pie. He does get creator credits during the opening credits of the show.

  5. So are there 4 total covers for #1? Regular, variant, SDCC, Third Eye Comics. Thats all I can think of or have found online.

There's also the free comic book day issue with the Revival preview if you are a completeist. And Walking Dead #98 or #99 (i forget which) has a preview as well.

  6. anyone done both the escape and the zombie race ( http://runforyourlives.com/ )

    thoughts on comparison?

I am thinking of going down to Florida for the November one...

Ok this is definitely the coolest thing I've seen in a while. I can't decide if I wanna be a runner or a zombie!

You watch the video? I cant decide if I want to do Florida or Maryland -- either way the race looks to be quite the thrill -

If you "die" you can get a 2nd life by finding a health pack which are spread out and hidden across the obstacle courses!

Yea I watched both, I just saw that it says if you are a zombie, you also can be a runner too for free, that's what I'm definitely gonna do!

    It's a 5K run. you won't last 1K as either, lol

  7. And the grab bag a-hole is back:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/THE-WALKING-DEAD-COMPLETE-COMIC-RUN-LOTTO-1-100-19-27X2-100-SDCC-ESCAPE-GRAB-BAG-/130730191349?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item1e702069f5

EDIT: What I like the best about this one is that he "has to get rid of his collection", yet included in this 'lottery' is all of the issue #100's, the SDCC sketch and the escape variant. Which means he just purchased these. And he lives in Connecticut. And he also says they are all in sealed envelopes already so he doesn't know what is what. So he's either in San Diego for SDCC and brought his entire collection there to package into envelopes or he's a scumbag.

  8. Except that they had to likely print a pretty sizeable overrun just in case they sold the 30k in tickets that were alloyed for this event. Those leftovers will end up in the secondary market one way or another. Plus I'm sure opportunists will be at the end gate waving twenty dollar bills at the "survivors".

$50 book in two months time.

Already down under $100 BIN on eBay. 'Mint' one just sold for $80. Looks like a $50 book in two hours, not two months. lol
