A new centerpiece for my collection

Not a comic (sorry) but old paper… I think I must have bought this in my early pre-teen days, thinking it would be worth a fortune someday. Long gone from my memory, my dad brought it to me this week since they were unpacking boxes. I researched it, appears to be a coverless big little book. Probably going in my next garage sale, but neat to see again.

I don't have those books but I have several contemporaries. It was one of the unexpected joys of my collecting career to find that the covers were just like the paper, not glossy, etc. The more "normal" glossy covers can be found interspersed between the other non-glossed books in the same era from this publisher. I believe I've even read somewhere that even the same issue could have the two different type of cover stock on two different copies. My

Great copy! The CGC label notes Mystery Men 2 as the 2nd robot cover. I was wondering -- which book is the first robot cover?
