  1. Such an unfunny show. Wait........... What? Unfunny, really? What would you find funny then? They've got a good premise, but the humour just isn't well executed and/or that funny. And I get their comic and sciene references. It's not like it's over my head or anything. Just low-brow, mindless humour. A supposed "joke" every like three seconds. No time for the it to sink in beofre the next one. Forced jokes. Just lame. Similar to "2 and a half men" "According to Jim", etc. It's OKAY to just watch as a show, but not as a comedy. I will admit that I have laughed at it. But maybe like twice an episode. It just floored me when I found out, maybe 2-3 years ago, just HOW many people thought the show was so amazing. Funny TV (that's MEANT to be funny) would be: The Office Family Guy Arrested Development Old Simpsons Frasier (now THAT's intellectual comedy done properly) Da Ali G Show Robot Chicken Seinfeld Friends Conan O'Brien Saturday Night Live Modern Family The Tom Green Show That 70's Show As they have said each to their own, but I almost feel asleep reading that list. I can say that I have never seen the Tom Green show. Frasier reminds me of golden girls. SNL has not been funny in decades. Funny people have said low-brow mindless humor..... can we say family guy? Simpsons?

  5. If it looks 9.8 worthy, I'd grab it and slab it. It does, but I have thought that about a couple of books that returned lower than i thought they would. I still might buy it though.

  15. Sounds good to me. I know Arch set the original parameters, but he might be amenable to a change if there seemed to be strong support for it. If there is enough support here perhaps we could start a thread in CG to solicit the views of people who rarely check the PL thread. I think I will let you or Dr. Balls run with this. I don't think me starting another thread in CG right now is conductive to my health and might possibly give one or two trolls cardiac arrest... or at least a jammed keyboard finger (visualize that however you see fit) Feel free to mention my name openly and freely though... just so they can see the word's Bio & Rupp flash before their eyes A come on Rupp, what's 1 more thread? I didn't realize people kept track of that. There is a lot of other threads started in the CG that make me .
  16. I need to watch this episode tonight after work!
  17. I sell my extras... I just don't like selling online. It's too much of a pain. I had 30 Unity 2000 #3 from when they came out and I have maybe one or two now. DG I gave away 25000 comics ( drek ) at christmas time, to make some much needed space, I couldnt be bothered to try and sell them, far too much work. I have actually sold twice on the boards, both my buyers approached me, offered the price and pleaded their case why they wanted the books. That's more than my collection as a whole!
