  1. Kudos for October for a prompt payment and great transaction, enjoy the book.
  2. Wanted to thank Inhuman Fiend and October for great transactions. Repsonsive to PM's, great packaging, prompt shipping, and great product. Deal with confidence.
  3. I'm sure everyone knows, but Zonker ships quickly, securely and friendly. Thanks!
  4. Is it normal for sellers to post a good experience after the buyer does like on ebay, or should sellers post it here after they've been paid?
  5. Little late as I've been busy, but kudos to BK, Foolkiller right? While I haven't received the books, he went out of his way to drop them off at my future inlaws house. I can't wait to move up there (Wait, did I just type that? Anxious to move to NJ from FL?) and check them out.
  6. Thank you so much GACollectibles. Spot on grading, packed to stop a bullet. Attention to detail, great customer service, freebies, what more can I say? Highest Rating, five bananas!
  7. I think the tax records relate to the purchases he made vs the comics allegedly put in after the purchase. You know, how can he prove what was in his bag was stolen vs purchased. I dunno, sounds guilty to me, but it's reasonable doubt.
  8. Thanks to No Chips for lightning fast service and being a great person to deal with!
  9. Wow, 174 pages. I wanted to give a huge shout out to Joe M. Bought a bunch of books off of him. They were packaged to stop a bullet. He could teach a class about how to ship. For the little bit of money he charged, and all the attention to detail, it shows what a passion he has. Since shipping was included in the price, there was no gouging on shipping or any upcharges and like I said, they were packed well. Shoe boxes packed with cut sytrofoam to fit snuggly, and then the boxes packed in a big box with styrofoam peanuts to surround them. I'll definitely recycle the shipping materials and probably use the same technique when I ship bigger orders in the future. Top notch, deal with confidence.
  10. I was at a huge flea market in Webster about a year ago, and some guy had two short boxes with various bronze books. I looked through and was deciding about a Swamp Thing 1 (The Wrightson one) and a Micronauts 1. Either one was $2.50 or was it $5.00. Anyway, I picked the Micronauts, only to realize it was rubbish and the Swamp Thing found a different home. I did go to a United Way garage sale and found a vendor with four big "banana" boxes. One was all Savage Swords, but the other three were mostly copper marvels. I thought they might have looted the night before, but when I found an old soda bottle and a rpg, felt better. Highlights were DD 131 and ASM 238 and 252.
  11. The Rocketeer Rocks! Not only did he send me the four books that I bought, but included a CGC 8.5 X-Men Giant Size 1. He said it was an "extra" copy that CGC had "lost" from some LCS's customer submission and needed to get rid of. Told me to pay him what I thought was fair, when I could. How can you beat that?
  12. Had great transactions with SCKAO, and CAVECARSON. Both were prompt, communicative, cordial and a pleasure to deal with. THANKS GUYS!
  13. Great purchases from Amazon.com and Borders. Huge discounts, free shipping, packed securely, great return policy, amazing selection with reviews, synopsis (synopsi?), prompt attention to answers, no sudden increases in price, and full color photos of what you're getting.
  14. I'm sure everyone's aware, but I wanted to say I had a great transaction with OldGuy Brian. Packed extremely securely (he could teach a class), shipped and tracked promptly, great communication, and a helluva deal. The original add didn't mention that he was sending me some variant cover or some such thing. Highest Rating!
  15. I'm Mr. OCD at work. I really collect board games, and I'm pushing towards 1,000. Primarily War games, but I've got Sure Shot Hockey and other parlor or action games. I also collect Sports Memorabilia and cards, best is a Dom Perignon Bottle from 1997 when the Marlins won their first title. I also collect Foo Dogs, but don't get into the antique ones. Throw in video game systems, comic books, and playboys. I always come home with something when I go to the flea markets.
  16. Wanted to thank Whet, for a couple of $1 comics, he made sure they were packed securely and arrived in like new condition. I'm not a professional grader, but if you submitted these to CGC, you could reap the rewards if they came back a 10.0
  17. My first love is games, board, war or role playing Sports cards and other memorabilia Foo Dogs Old Video Game systems
  18. I'm sure it's been said here many times, but I wanted to post a thanks to Flying Donut. He was communicative and great to deal with. THANKS
